| CVE-2026-42784 | 3 Red Hat, Redhat, Sequoia-pgp | 12 Enterprise Linux, Ansible Automation Platform, Confidential Compute Attestation and 9 more | 2026-10-07 | 7.4 High |
| A flaw was found in sequoia-openpgp. The library incorrectly infers key flags for older certificates when a key flags subpacket is missing, leading to a discrepancy in how key capabilities are viewed. This key flag confusion allows an attacker to bypass the back-signature check. Consequently, an attacker can illegitimately bind an arbitrary subkey to their own certificate and forge signatures, completely compromising cryptographic integrity. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107168 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-07 | 6.2 Medium |
| A flaw was found in m17n-lib. By providing crafted input containing an invalid UTF-8 character sequence, an attacker can cause the text parsing function to enter an infinite loop. This issue leads to sustained high CPU utilization, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for the affected application. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104048 | 2 Redhat, Sssd | 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Sssd | 2026-10-07 | 6.8 Medium |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. In trust-enabled identity management environments, SSSD evaluates Host-Based Access Control (HBAC) rules by stripping domain qualifiers and comparing only short usernames. An authenticated user in a trusted domain who shares the same username as an authorized local account can bypass access policies and gain unauthorized access to protected services or hosts. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107169 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-07 | 6.2 Medium |
| A flaw was found in m17n-lib. An attacker could provide specially crafted or truncated UTF-8 input to trigger an unhandled null pointer dereference during text processing. This issue causes the application to crash unexpectedly, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). | ||||
| CVE-2026-107167 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-07 | 6.2 Medium |
| A flaw was found in m17n-lib. A user providing specially crafted text input can trigger a heap use-after-free condition during input-method state transitions. Under specific conditions, the library frees an internal input context object but subsequently attempts to write to that freed memory. This issue can cause applications relying on the library to crash, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS), or potentially allow arbitrary code execution. | ||||
| CVE-2026-106064 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-07 | 6.3 Medium |
| A heap-based buffer overflow was found in GIMP’s GIF export plug-in. Exporting an image with very large width and height can cause 32-bit overflow when computing the pixel buffer size. The plug-in allocates a buffer based on the wrapped value while GEGL writes using the true image extent, rooted in integer overflow | ||||
| CVE-2026-90996 | 2 Fedoraproject, Redhat | 4 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 1 more | 2026-10-07 | 4 Medium |
| A flaw was found in sssd. A local unprivileged user could send a specially crafted request with a zero-length body to the Network Security Services (NSS) responder. This could lead to a denial-of-service condition, causing the NSS responder to become unstable or terminate. This vulnerability affects the availability of the system responder. | ||||
| CVE-2026-90462 | 3 Fedoraproject, Redhat, Sssd | 5 Sssd, Enterprise Linux, Openshift and 2 more | 2026-10-07 | 5.4 Medium |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. When configured with the LDAP access provider and `ldap_access_order` including `ppolicy` or `lockout`, a fail-open condition in the LDAP ppolicy access check can occur if a user lookup returns zero results. This can incorrectly return success and cache an allow decision, permitting continued authorization for a deleted or deprovisioned user. A remote attacker with prior valid account context could exploit this to maintain access to information and potentially make limited modifications to resources that should no longer be available. | ||||
| CVE-2026-107170 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-07 | 2.9 Low |
| A flaw was found in m17n-lib. A partial failure during library initialization can leave an internal driver pointer uninitialized. Under specific error conditions, such as system resource exhaustion or database corruption, an application attempting to open an input method dereferences this null pointer without proper validation. This issue causes the application to crash, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). | ||||
| CVE-2026-106061 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-07 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in GIMP’s X cursor (XMC) thumbnail loader. When GIMP generates a thumbnail for a crafted XMC file, it allocates a pixel buffer using a width * height size computed in 32-bit signed arithmetic. If that product overflows, the allocation is smaller than the true image extent. A subsequent GEGL buffer read uses the unwrapped dimensions and performs an out-of-bounds read on the heap (CWE-125), after integer overflow in the size calculation (CWE-190). This can crash GIMP or corrupt process memory. | ||||
| CVE-2026-55655 | 3 Openbsd, Openssh, Redhat | 10 Openssh, Openssh, Enterprise Linux and 7 more | 2026-10-07 | 5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in OpenSSH. A local unprivileged attacker on a Linux client host can hijack client-side X11 forwarding connections. This is possible by pre-binding the preferred abstract X socket name when X11 forwarding is enabled and a local UNIX-domain X socket is used. A successful attack can compromise the confidentiality of forwarded X11 traffic, including sensitive window contents and input, and may allow some manipulation of the forwarded session. | ||||
| CVE-2026-55653 | 3 Openbsd, Openssh, Redhat | 10 Openssh, Openssh, Enterprise Linux and 7 more | 2026-10-07 | 4.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in OpenSSH. A malicious SSH server can exploit a double free vulnerability in the Diffie-Hellman Group Exchange (DH-GEX) client path. This occurs during FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standards) mode known-group validation when the client processes attacker-controlled DH-GEX group parameters. Successful exploitation leads to client-side process termination, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS). | ||||
| CVE-2026-101258 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-06 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in Ghostscript. When Ghostscript renders a crafted PostScript or EPS document, it can bypass the -dSAFER sandbox and execute arbitrary shell commands in the context of the Ghostscript process. The issue chains memory corruption in document parsing with disabling of internal path access controls at runtime. An attacker can deliver the document directly or through formats that delegate rendering to Ghostscript (for example EPS import or print conversion workflows). Successful exploitation can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data accessible to the process running Ghostscript. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104045 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2026-10-06 | 4.7 Medium |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. A local user can trigger a Denial of Service (DoS) by exploiting a race condition in the autofs responder between asynchronous enumeration completion and map invalidation. By repeatedly sending concurrent map enumeration and invalidation requests, an attacker can cause memory to leak, leading to excessive memory consumption that can disrupt or crash the autofs service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-106062 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-06 | 7.8 High |
| A heap-based buffer overflow was found in GIMP’s DirectDraw Surface (DDS) loader. When loading a crafted DDS image, buffer sizes derived from width, height, and pitch can be computed using 32-bit arithmetic that overflows. The allocated buffer is too small for the amount of pixel data written through GEGL (CWE-787), following integer overflow in size calculations (CWE-190). This may allow heap corruption and, in the worst case, arbitrary code execution in the context of the GIMP process. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104046 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2026-10-06 | 6.2 Medium |
| A flaw was found in SSSD (System Security Services Daemon). When Identity Provider (IdP) authentication is enabled, pre-authentication requests retain state in memory without being cleared or timed out. A local attacker can repeatedly initiate authentication flows without completing them, causing unbounded memory consumption. This memory exhaustion can lead to a Denial of Service (DoS) by degrading or terminating SSSD authentication services. | ||||
| CVE-2026-80048 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2026-10-06 | N/A |
| A flaw was found in `sssd-kcm`. A local user or process able to connect to the `sssd-kcm` UNIX socket can exploit this vulnerability. By sending a large request length header and then stalling the connection, an attacker can cause the system to preallocate significant memory. This leads to memory exhaustion within the `sssd-kcm` responder, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for affected deployments. | ||||
| CVE-2026-104047 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift | 2026-10-06 | 5.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. When configured to use Microsoft Entra ID, search inputs are not properly sanitized before being incorporated into directory query filters. A local user can exploit this vulnerability by submitting a crafted lookup request, manipulating the query logic to cause unauthorized information disclosure from the directory. | ||||
| CVE-2026-106063 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-06 | 6.3 Medium |
| A heap-based buffer overflow was found in GIMP’s DICOM export plug-in. When exporting an image with extremely large width and height, the export path allocates a buffer using a 32-bit width * height (and bytes-per-pixel) product that can overflow. GEGL then writes the full uncompressed extent into the undersized buffer (CWE-787), after integer overflow in the allocation size | ||||
| CVE-2026-104030 | 2 Redhat, Sssd | 4 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform and 1 more | 2026-10-06 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in sssd. This vulnerability allows a local user to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by submitting a specially crafted passkey authentication token that lacks null terminators. The authentication service reads past the end of the provided memory buffer, causing the process to crash and disrupting authentication services. | ||||
