CVSS v3.1 |
A flaw was found in m17n-lib. By providing crafted input containing an invalid UTF-8 character sequence, an attacker can cause the text parsing function to enter an infinite loop. This issue leads to sustained high CPU utilization, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for the affected application.
A flaw was found in SSSD. In trust-enabled identity management environments, SSSD evaluates Host-Based Access Control (HBAC) rules by stripping domain qualifiers and comparing only short usernames. An authenticated user in a trusted domain who shares the same username as an authorized local account can bypass access policies and gain unauthorized access to protected services or hosts.
A flaw was found in pulp-container when it authenticates to an upstream registry. Basic and bearer credentials from one remote are reused for later downloads in the same worker. A user who can sync a container remote, and can point that remote at a server they control, receives the username, password, or bearer token stored for a different remote, and can reuse that credential at the upstream registry. Content stored in Pulp is not changed, and the service is not stopped.
A flaw was found in source-to-image. When unpacking archive files, the application fails to properly sanitize symbolic links pointing to absolute file paths. An attacker who supplies a malicious builder image can exploit this vulnerability by embedding links pointing outside the extraction directory. This allows the attacker to bypass sandbox boundaries, potentially leading to unauthorized information disclosure or file modification on the host system.
A flaw was found in m17n-lib. An attacker could provide specially crafted or truncated UTF-8 input to trigger an unhandled null pointer dereference during text processing. This issue causes the application to crash unexpectedly, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).
A flaw was found in m17n-lib. A user providing specially crafted text input can trigger a heap use-after-free condition during input-method state transitions. Under specific conditions, the library frees an internal input context object but subsequently attempts to write to that freed memory. This issue can cause applications relying on the library to crash, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS), or potentially allow arbitrary code execution.
A heap-based buffer overflow was found in GIMP’s GIF export plug-in. Exporting an image with very large width and height can cause 32-bit overflow when computing the pixel buffer size. The plug-in allocates a buffer based on the wrapped value while GEGL writes using the true image extent, rooted in integer overflow
A flaw was found in sssd. A local unprivileged user could send a specially crafted request with a zero-length body to the Network Security Services (NSS) responder. This could lead to a denial-of-service condition, causing the NSS responder to become unstable or terminate. This vulnerability affects the availability of the system responder.
A flaw was found in oc-mirror. During mirroring operations, the embedded local cache registry binds to all network interfaces without authentication or encryption instead of restricting access to the local system. An unauthenticated attacker on an adjacent network can connect to the exposed service to push tampered container images, delete cached images, or access mirrored content.
A flaw was found in openshift/oauth-server. The OAuth login and error page endpoints pass the unauthenticated Accept-Language header to golang.org/x/text/language.ParseAcceptLanguage() without input validation. A bypass of the CVE-2022-32149 mitigation exists: the upstream guard counts only '-' characters but the internal BCP 47 scanner aliases '_' to '-' after the guard check. An unauthenticated attacker can send a crafted Accept-Language header using '_' separators to trigger quadratic-time parsing, consuming excessive CPU and denying authentication to all cluster users.
A flaw was found in kube-compare. When processing a 'container://' reference path, the tool incorrectly executes an untrusted container image's entrypoint instead of merely extracting data from a stopped container. This allows a remote attacker to achieve arbitrary code execution on the operator's workstation. If the Docker daemon requires elevated privileges, the untrusted code may execute with root-mediated daemon privileges, posing a significant security risk.
A flaw was found in SSSD. When configured with the LDAP access provider and `ldap_access_order` including `ppolicy` or `lockout`, a fail-open condition in the LDAP ppolicy access check can occur if a user lookup returns zero results. This can incorrectly return success and cache an allow decision, permitting continued authorization for a deleted or deprovisioned user. A remote attacker with prior valid account context could exploit this to maintain access to information and potentially make limited modifications to resources that should no longer be available.
IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) for RedHat OpenShift could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information due to cleartext transmission of sensitive information.
IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) for RedHat OpenShift could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information due to improper enforcement of mutual TLS authentication.
IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) for RedHat OpenShift could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information due to improper restriction of XML external entity references.
IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) for RedHat OpenShift could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary ESQL commands due to improper neutralization of special elements used in an ESQL command.
IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) for RedHat OpenShift could allow a remote attacker to execute unauthorized payment actions due to missing authorization checks.
IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) for RedHat OpenShift could allow a remote attacker to clear active chat sessions due to improper authorization.
IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) for RedHat OpenShift could allow a remote authenticated attacker to obtain sensitive information due to SQL injection.
IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) for RedHat OpenShift could allow a remote attacker to bypass authentication and access sensitive information due to a hard-coded cryptographic key.
