| An integer overflow flaw which could lead to an out of bounds write was discovered in libssh2 before 1.8.1 in the way packets are read from the server. A remote attacker who compromises a SSH server may be able to execute code on the client system when a user connects to the server. | ||||
| CVE-2019-19244 | 4 Canonical, Oracle, Siemens and 1 more | 4 Ubuntu Linux, Mysql Workbench, Sinec Infrastructure Network Services and 1 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.5 High |
| sqlite3Select in select.c in SQLite 3.30.1 allows a crash if a sub-select uses both DISTINCT and window functions, and also has certain ORDER BY usage. | ||||
| CVE-2019-19242 | 5 Canonical, Oracle, Redhat and 2 more | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Mysql Workbench, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.9 Medium |
| SQLite 3.30.1 mishandles pExpr->y.pTab, as demonstrated by the TK_COLUMN case in sqlite3ExprCodeTarget in expr.c. | ||||
| CVE-2019-19126 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more | 2026-10-14 | 3.3 Low |
| On the x86-64 architecture, the GNU C Library (aka glibc) before 2.31 fails to ignore the LD_PREFER_MAP_32BIT_EXEC environment variable during program execution after a security transition, allowing local attackers to restrict the possible mapping addresses for loaded libraries and thus bypass ASLR for a setuid program. | ||||
| CVE-2019-18348 | 2 Python, Redhat | 2 Python, Rhel Software Collections | 2026-10-14 | 5.4 Medium |
| An issue was discovered in urllib2 in Python 2.x through 2.7.17 and urllib in Python 3.x through 3.8.0. CRLF injection is possible if the attacker controls a url parameter, as demonstrated by the first argument to urllib.request.urlopen with \r\n (specifically in the host component of a URL) followed by an HTTP header. This is similar to the CVE-2019-9740 query string issue and the CVE-2019-9947 path string issue. (This is not exploitable when glibc has CVE-2016-10739 fixed.). This is fixed in: v2.7.18, v2.7.18rc1; v3.5.10, v3.5.10rc1; v3.6.11, v3.6.11rc1, v3.6.12; v3.7.8, v3.7.8rc1, v3.7.9; v3.8.3, v3.8.3rc1, v3.8.4, v3.8.4rc1, v3.8.5, v3.8.6, v3.8.6rc1. | ||||
| CVE-2019-18276 | 4 Gnu, Netapp, Oracle and 1 more | 6 Bash, Hci Management Node, Oncommand Unified Manager and 3 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.8 High |
| An issue was discovered in disable_priv_mode in shell.c in GNU Bash through 5.0 patch 11. By default, if Bash is run with its effective UID not equal to its real UID, it will drop privileges by setting its effective UID to its real UID. However, it does so incorrectly. On Linux and other systems that support "saved UID" functionality, the saved UID is not dropped. An attacker with command execution in the shell can use "enable -f" for runtime loading of a new builtin, which can be a shared object that calls setuid() and therefore regains privileges. However, binaries running with an effective UID of 0 are unaffected. | ||||
| CVE-2019-18224 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 2 Libidn2, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-14 | 9.8 Critical |
| idn2_to_ascii_4i in lib/lookup.c in GNU libidn2 before 2.1.1 has a heap-based buffer overflow via a long domain string. | ||||
| CVE-2019-17595 | 3 Invisible-island, Opensuse, Redhat | 3 Ncurses, Leap, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-14 | 5.4 Medium |
| There is a heap-based buffer over-read in the fmt_entry function in tinfo/comp_hash.c in the terminfo library in ncurses before 6.1-20191012. | ||||
| CVE-2019-17594 | 3 Invisible-island, Opensuse, Redhat | 3 Ncurses, Leap, Enterprise Linux | 2026-10-14 | 5.3 Medium |
| There is a heap-based buffer over-read in the _nc_find_entry function in tinfo/comp_hash.c in the terminfo library in ncurses before 6.1-20191012. | ||||
| CVE-2019-17543 | 1 Lz4 Project | 1 Lz4 | 2026-10-14 | 8.1 High |
| LZ4 before 1.9.2 has a heap-based buffer overflow in LZ4_write32 (related to LZ4_compress_destSize), affecting applications that call LZ4_compress_fast with a large input. (This issue can also lead to data corruption.) NOTE: the vendor states "only a few specific / uncommon usages of the API are at risk." | ||||
| CVE-2019-17498 | 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libssh2 and 3 more | 13 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libssh2 and 10 more | 2026-10-14 | 8.1 High |
| In libssh2 v1.9.0 and earlier versions, the SSH_MSG_DISCONNECT logic in packet.c has an integer overflow in a bounds check, enabling an attacker to specify an arbitrary (out-of-bounds) offset for a subsequent memory read. A crafted SSH server may be able to disclose sensitive information or cause a denial of service condition on the client system when a user connects to the server. | ||||
| CVE-2019-16905 | 3 Netapp, Openbsd, Siemens | 7 Cloud Backup, Steelstore Cloud Integrated Storage, Openssh and 4 more | 2026-10-14 | 7.8 High |
| OpenSSH 7.7 through 7.9 and 8.x before 8.1, when compiled with an experimental key type, has a pre-authentication integer overflow if a client or server is configured to use a crafted XMSS key. This leads to memory corruption and local code execution because of an error in the XMSS key parsing algorithm. NOTE: the XMSS implementation is considered experimental in all released OpenSSH versions, and there is no supported way to enable it when building portable OpenSSH. | ||||
| CVE-2019-16168 | 9 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 6 more | 21 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 18 more | 2026-10-14 | 6.5 Medium |
| In SQLite through 3.29.0, whereLoopAddBtreeIndex in sqlite3.c can crash a browser or other application because of missing validation of a sqlite_stat1 sz field, aka a "severe division by zero in the query planner." | ||||
| CVE-2019-16056 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more | 14 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 11 more | 2026-10-14 | 5.3 Medium |
| An issue was discovered in Python through 2.7.16, 3.x through 3.5.7, 3.6.x through 3.6.9, and 3.7.x through 3.7.4. The email module wrongly parses email addresses that contain multiple @ characters. An application that uses the email module and implements some kind of checks on the From/To headers of a message could be tricked into accepting an email address that should be denied. An attack may be the same as in CVE-2019-11340; however, this CVE applies to Python more generally. | ||||
| CVE-2019-15903 | 3 Libexpat Project, Python, Redhat | 5 Libexpat, Python, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2026-10-14 | 6.5 Medium |
| In libexpat before 2.2.8, crafted XML input could fool the parser into changing from DTD parsing to document parsing too early; a consecutive call to XML_GetCurrentLineNumber (or XML_GetCurrentColumnNumber) then resulted in a heap-based buffer over-read. | ||||
