| CVE-2026-13097 | 2 Freeipa, Redhat | 2 Freeipa, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-28 | 8.7 High |
| A privilege escalation flaw was found in FreeIPA. The uniqueness constraint enforced on Kerberos principal name attributes in the 389-ds directory server does not properly account for equivalent representations of the same principal name, allowing a user with sufficient LDAP write privileges to create a service principal that impersonates an existing privileged one. This can lead to unauthorized acquisition of Kerberos service tickets for sensitive services, potentially resulting in full domain compromise. | ||||
| CVE-2026-43958 | 1 Redhat | 4 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel E4s and 1 more | 2026-09-28 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in rrdcached, a component of rrdtool. A local attacker with access to a rrdcached socket can exploit a stack-based buffer overflow by sending an oversized CREATE request. This vulnerability can lead to a denial of service by crashing the daemon or potentially allow for arbitrary code execution, impacting the integrity and confidentiality of data. | ||||
| CVE-2025-49796 | 1 Redhat | 15 Cert Manager, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 12 more | 2026-09-28 | 9.1 Critical |
| A vulnerability was found in libxml2. Processing certain sch:name elements from the input XML file can trigger a memory corruption issue. This flaw allows an attacker to craft a malicious XML input file that can lead libxml to crash, resulting in a denial of service or other possible undefined behavior due to sensitive data being corrupted in memory. | ||||
| CVE-2025-49794 | 1 Redhat | 14 Cert Manager, Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird and 11 more | 2026-09-28 | 9.1 Critical |
| A use-after-free vulnerability was found in libxml2. This issue occurs when parsing XPath elements under certain circumstances when the XML schematron has the <sch:name path="..."/> schema elements. This flaw allows a malicious actor to craft a malicious XML document used as input for libxml, resulting in the program's crash using libxml or other possible undefined behaviors. | ||||
| CVE-2025-9566 | 1 Redhat | 9 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Openshift and 6 more | 2026-09-28 | 8.1 High |
| There's a vulnerability in podman where an attacker may use the kube play command to overwrite host files when the kube file container a Secrete or a ConfigMap volume mount and such volume contains a symbolic link to a host file path. In a successful attack, the attacker can only control the target file to be overwritten but not the content to be written into the file. Binary-Affected: podman Upstream-version-introduced: v4.0.0 Upstream-version-fixed: v5.6.1 | ||||
| CVE-2026-96276 | 2 Flatpak, Redhat | 2 Flatpak, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-27 | 6.5 Medium |
| If a malicious SDK container declares an extension point with a crafted `directory` path, and a developer runs `flatpak build-init --writable-sdk --sdk-extension` with that SDK, attacker-chosen files could be written outside the working directory, since the target path is resolved via a function that allows `..` traversal. | ||||
| CVE-2026-93834 | 2 Qemu, Redhat | 8 Qemu, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux For Nvidia 26 and 5 more | 2026-09-27 | 8.8 High |
| A use-after-free vulnerability was found in QEMU's 9pfs subsystem. A race condition between the main thread and a worker thread when processing concurrent Tlcreate and Twalk requests allows a malicious guest user to craft a fid path containing stale heap data, bypassing directory traversal restrictions and escaping the shared directory boundary. This can lead to arbitrary host file read/write and code execution (VM escape) as the QEMU process user. | ||||
| CVE-2026-94640 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Openshift Container Platform | 2026-09-26 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in rpcbind. This vulnerability allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by sending a large number of unique requests. The rpcbind service records previously unseen RPC (Remote Procedure Call) statistics in unbounded in-memory lists, leading to persistent memory growth and increased CPU usage. This can degrade or exhaust service availability. | ||||
| CVE-2026-2604 | 2 Gnome, Redhat | 2 Evolution-data-server, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-25 | 5.6 Medium |
| A flaw was found in evolution-data-server. Inconsistent comparison logic in the addressbook file backend allows a Flatpak application with D-Bus access to craft a malicious URI containing directory traversal sequences. This URI is stored without proper validation during contact creation or modification. Later, during contact deletion, the URI is processed with a less strict check, leading to the deletion of arbitrary files on the host filesystem. This could potentially include critical Flatpak override files. | ||||
| CVE-2026-88264 | 2 Containers, Redhat | 5 Crun, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 2 more | 2026-09-25 | 5.6 Medium |
| A flaw was found in crun. When the container configuration does not give /dev a dedicated mount, terminal setup can redirect /dev/console onto an attacker-controlled path, including via the read-only-rootfs bind-mount fallback. Affected versions are crun 1.29.1 and earlier. Default configurations that mount a fresh /dev are not exposed. No fixed release is available yet. | ||||
| CVE-2026-96889 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-25 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in librsvg. When processing an SVG document containing nested XML inclusions (Xincludes) with duplicate entity declarations, a use-after-free error can occur. This vulnerability arises because the library incorrectly frees an XML entity that is still in use by the parser. An attacker could potentially exploit this to cause a denial of service or execute arbitrary code. | ||||
| CVE-2026-96546 | 2 Gimp, Redhat | 2 Gimp, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-25 | 2.5 Low |
| A one-byte out-of-bounds heap read flaw was found in GIMP's uncompressed DDS image loader. When a user opens an uncompressed DDS image, the file-dds plug-in performs an unconditional one-byte look-ahead after processing the final pixel. This may cause the plug-in to crash if the byte immediately following the pixel buffer is inaccessible; no information disclosure or code execution has been demonstrated. | ||||
| CVE-2026-96275 | 2 Flatpak, Redhat | 2 Flatpak, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-25 | 8.8 High |
| A malicious or compromised Flatpak repository can write attacker-controlled content to arbitrary locations on the host filesystem via extract_extra_data(). On system installs, the write happens as root. Two issues combine: `files/extra` is resolved via path operations that follow symlinks, and blob names from `xa.extra-data-sources` are not sanitized against `..` traversal. | ||||
| CVE-2026-10805 | 1 Redhat | 14 Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird, Jboss Enterprise Application Platform Expansion Pack and 11 more | 2026-09-25 | 6.7 Medium |
| A flaw was found in NetworkManager. This local privilege escalation vulnerability exists in NetworkManager's dhclient backend when processing malformed Manufacturer Usage Description (MUD) URLs. A local user can exploit this flaw to escalate privileges by triggering a script via a crafted MUD URL, provided an administrator has explicitly configured NetworkManager to use dhclient. This issue does not affect default configurations of NetworkManager. | ||||
| CVE-2024-1753 | 1 Redhat | 3 Enterprise Linux, Openshift, Rhel Eus | 2026-09-24 | 8.6 High |
| A flaw was found in Buildah (and subsequently Podman Build) which allows containers to mount arbitrary locations on the host filesystem into build containers. A malicious Containerfile can use a dummy image with a symbolic link to the root filesystem as a mount source and cause the mount operation to mount the host root filesystem inside the RUN step. The commands inside the RUN step will then have read-write access to the host filesystem, allowing for full container escape at build time. | ||||
| CVE-2026-93433 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-24 | 5.5 Medium |
| A flaw was found in libstoragemgmt. An attacker with control over a local or virtual storage device could provide specially crafted SCSI (Small Computer System Interface) Vital Product Data (VPD) page 0x80 data. This malformed data, specifically an untrusted page length field, can lead to a stack buffer overflow in the `_sg_parse_vpd_80()` function during serial number parsing. Successful exploitation could result in a denial of service by crashing or destabilizing the process querying the serial number. | ||||
| CVE-2026-79992 | 1 Redhat | 1 Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-24 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in Emacs TRAMP. A local attacker could exploit this vulnerability by processing maliciously crafted filenames. This occurs because TRAMP concatenates login arguments without proper sanitization, which are then passed to a local shell. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution. | ||||
| CVE-2026-78002 | 2 Redhat, Rsyslog | 3 Enterprise Linux, Rhui, Rsyslog | 2026-09-24 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in rsyslog. An unauthenticated remote attacker can trigger a heap buffer overflow in the RainerScript `replace()` function by sending specially crafted syslog messages. This vulnerability arises from an incorrect buffer size calculation during string replacement, causing memory corruption. Successful exploitation can lead to a denial of service (DoS) for the affected system. | ||||
| CVE-2026-19654 | 2 Redhat, Rsyslog | 4 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhui and 1 more | 2026-09-24 | 7.5 High |
| A unauthenticated remote peer may lead rsyslogd to crash due to a flaw in the optional imptcp module. A crafted input sequence during oversize-frame recovery can cause an invalid internal message length and terminate rsyslogd. No confidentiality or integrity impact, privilege escalation, or code execution has been identified. imtcp and the default imptcp framing modes are not affected. | ||||
| CVE-2026-96442 | 2 Gnu, Redhat | 2 Emacs, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-24 | 7.8 High |
| A code execution flaw was found in Emacs, affecting versions prior to 31.2. The Flymake mode using language backends other than Lisp would execute arbitrary code from the edited file while performing syntax checking. Viewing or editing untrusted files using Emacs could lead to arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the user running Emacs. | ||||
