| CVE-2026-2100 | 2 P11-kit Project, Redhat | 9 P11-kit, Cert Manager, Cost Management and 6 more | 2026-09-29 | 5.3 Medium |
| A flaw was found in p11-kit. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by calling the C_DeriveKey function on a remote token with specific IBM kyber or IBM btc derive mechanism parameters set to NULL. This could lead to the RPC-client attempting to return an uninitialized value, potentially resulting in a NULL dereference or undefined behavior. This issue may cause an application level denial of service or other unpredictable system states. | ||||
| CVE-2025-5278 | 1 Redhat | 8 Cert Manager, Cost Management, Discovery and 5 more | 2026-09-29 | 4.4 Medium |
| A flaw was found in GNU Coreutils. The sort utility's begfield() function is vulnerable to a heap buffer under-read. The program may access memory outside the allocated buffer if a user runs a crafted command using the traditional key format. A malicious input could lead to a crash or leak sensitive data. | ||||
| CVE-2026-4424 | 2 Libarchive, Redhat | 22 Libarchive, Ai Inference Server, Cert Manager and 19 more | 2026-09-29 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in libarchive. This heap out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in the RAR archive processing logic due to improper validation of the LZSS sliding window size after transitions between compression methods. A remote attacker can exploit this by providing a specially crafted RAR archive, leading to the disclosure of sensitive heap memory information without requiring authentication or user interaction. | ||||
| CVE-2026-96541 | 2 Gnome, Redhat | 2 Gnome-remote-desktop, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-28 | 7.5 High |
| A denial-of-service flaw was found in gnome-remote-desktop. An unauthenticated remote attacker can open RDP connections without completing the handshake and retain the connection-throttling slots indefinitely because no pre-authentication handshake deadline is enforced. By exhausting the global connection limit, an attacker can prevent new RDP clients from connecting until a holding socket is closed. | ||||
| CVE-2026-95519 | 2 Redhat, Rpm | 4 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird and 1 more | 2026-09-28 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in rpm. An attacker can supply a crafted manifest file that, when processed by a user or automation using `rpm -q -p` or similar manifest-processing flows, leads to arbitrary code execution. This occurs because manifest entries are unexpectedly macro-expanded before being opened, allowing embedded shell commands to run with the privileges of the `rpm` process. Successful exploitation can lead to a full compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability for the affected account. | ||||
| CVE-2026-95521 | 2 Redhat, Rpm | 4 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird and 1 more | 2026-09-28 | 7.8 High |
| A command injection flaw was found in rpm. Installing or rebuilding a source RPM whose source or spec file basenames contain a %() macro construct causes rpm to execute an attacker-controlled shell command via popen() while relocating the source file list. This allows arbitrary command execution as the invoking (typically non-root) user, simply by installing, rebuilding, or otherwise processing an untrusted .src.rpm. | ||||
| CVE-2026-96279 | 2 Flatpak, Redhat | 2 Flatpak, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-28 | 6.5 Medium |
| A malicious OCI registry can hardlink arbitrary host files into the extraction directory when a user installs or updates a Flatpak application from an OCI remote, allowing disclosure of arbitrary host file contents. For system-wide installs running as root, this includes sensitive files such as /etc/shadow. | ||||
| CVE-2026-96280 | 2 Flatpak, Redhat | 2 Flatpak, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-28 | 7.5 High |
| The OCI delta stream parser read sizes as guint64 but passed them to GLib I/O and allocation functions expecting gsize (32 bits on 32-bit systems), causing undersized allocations while subsequent operations use the original 64-bit size, leading to heap buffer overflows. An attacker controlling an OCI registry can craft a delta stream that triggers this during flatpak install/update, potentially achieving code execution on 32-bit systems. | ||||
| CVE-2026-96283 | 2 Flatpak, Redhat | 2 Flatpak, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-28 | 3.3 Low |
| By calling org.freedesktop.Flatpak.SystemHelper.CancelPull on another user's pull, the pull is not actually cancelled but removed from internal tracking, making it impossible for the owning user to stop it. Ongoing pulls cannot be stopped. | ||||
| CVE-2026-96282 | 2 Flatpak, Redhat | 2 Flatpak, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-28 | 3.1 Low |
| A malicious Flatpak extension can probe the host filesystem to determine what files and directories exist at arbitrary paths, and host directory listings can be disclosed to sandboxed applications using the extension. Additionally, unvalidated extension metadata can cause extension content to be mounted at unintended locations inside the sandbox. | ||||
| CVE-2026-74860 | 1 Redhat | 6 Cert Manager, Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images and 3 more | 2026-09-28 | 8.5 High |
| A flaw was found in libxml2 with Python bindings enabled. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by providing a specially crafted XML document containing a Document Type Definition (DTD) with enumerated attribute values. This triggers a double-free error in the SAX attributeDecl callback handler, where a string is freed twice. This flaw can lead to a denial of service (DoS) due to a reproducible crash in Python applications using the libxml2 SAX bindings. | ||||
| CVE-2026-11861 | 2 Freeipa, Redhat | 2 Freeipa, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-28 | 9.6 Critical |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA. When a trust relationship is configured between FreeIPA and Active Directory, Active Directory users can bypass authentication for FreeIPA services, including the portal, SMB server, and LDAP directory. This is possible by impersonating a client name in the Ticket Granting Service (TGS) due to FreeIPA services not verifying Privilege Attribute Certificate (PAC) certificates. This vulnerability could allow an authenticated Active Directory user to escalate their privileges within the FreeIPA domain. | ||||
| CVE-2026-79678 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Freeipa | 2026-09-28 | 8.1 High |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA's idp-add command, where insufficiently validated --organization/--base-url input reaches a constrained eval() call before the corresponding LDAP access control check is enforced. This allows any authenticated IPA principal, regardless of privilege level, to enumerate and read the environment variables of the affected server process and to cause denial of service via memory exhaustion. | ||||
| CVE-2026-76578 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Freeipa | 2026-09-28 | 9.8 Critical |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA. The self-managed OTP token ACI does not require authentication and does not restrict which attributes may be added alongside the token entry. An unauthenticated LDAP client can exploit this, combined with a related flaw in the underlying directory server's ACI evaluation (tracked separately), to create an arbitrary attacker-controlled Kerberos principal and have it added to the administrators group. This allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to obtain genuine FreeIPA administrator-group membership and perform administrative operations against the directory and, on SID-enabled deployments, other IdM services. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73198 | 2 Freeipa, Redhat | 2 Freeipa, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-28 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit a vulnerability in the `/ipa/i18n_messages` endpoint by sending an arbitrarily large request body. This can cause the service to consume excessive memory, leading to memory exhaustion, degraded responsiveness, and a denial of service (DoS) condition. | ||||
| CVE-2026-73197 | 2 Freeipa, Redhat | 2 Freeipa, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-28 | 7.5 High |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA. A remote, unauthenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending oversized form POST requests to the `/ipa/migration/migration.py` endpoint. This can force the migration handler to read attacker-controlled request bodies fully into memory, leading to increased memory usage, slower request handling, and potential service disruption or denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2026-19550 | 2 Freeipa, Redhat | 2 Freeipa, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-28 | 8.2 High |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA. The trust-fetch-domains command is gated by a read-only permission on the trust object rather than a trust-administration permission, allowing an authenticated, non-privileged IPA user to trigger a privileged Active Directory trust refresh using an attacker-supplied server and credentials, resulting in unauthorized, attacker-controlled modification of trusted-domain and ID-range identity data in the IPA LDAP directory. | ||||
| CVE-2026-18147 | 1 Redhat | 2 Enterprise Linux, Freeipa | 2026-09-28 | 8.1 High |
| A flaw was found in FreeIPA. An unauthenticated remote attacker could exploit a DOM Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the FreeIPA/IdM Web UI password reset page. By enticing a victim to click a specially crafted link and complete a password reset, the attacker could inject and execute arbitrary JavaScript code. This allows the attacker to perform actions within the victim's authenticated session, potentially leading to full administrative control if an IdM administrator is targeted. | ||||
| CVE-2026-13097 | 2 Freeipa, Redhat | 2 Freeipa, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-28 | 8.7 High |
| A privilege escalation flaw was found in FreeIPA. The uniqueness constraint enforced on Kerberos principal name attributes in the 389-ds directory server does not properly account for equivalent representations of the same principal name, allowing a user with sufficient LDAP write privileges to create a service principal that impersonates an existing privileged one. This can lead to unauthorized acquisition of Kerberos service tickets for sensitive services, potentially resulting in full domain compromise. | ||||
| CVE-2026-43958 | 1 Redhat | 4 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel E4s and 1 more | 2026-09-28 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in rrdcached, a component of rrdtool. A local attacker with access to a rrdcached socket can exploit a stack-based buffer overflow by sending an oversized CREATE request. This vulnerability can lead to a denial of service by crashing the daemon or potentially allow for arbitrary code execution, impacting the integrity and confidentiality of data. | ||||
