| CVE-2026-98054 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-06 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: Intel: avs: Fix unbalanced module reference count strace_open() invokes try_module_get() which on success takes the module reference. If any follow up operation causes strace_open() to fail, the refcount shall be put down. | ||||
| CVE-2021-21296 | 1 Fleetdm | 1 Fleet | 2026-10-06 | 2.7 Low |
| Fleet is an open source osquery manager. In Fleet before version 3.7.0 a malicious actor with a valid node key can send a badly formatted request that causes the Fleet server to exit, resulting in denial of service. This is possible only while a live query is currently ongoing. We believe the impact of this vulnerability to be low given the requirement that the actor has a valid node key. There is no information disclosure, privilege escalation, or code execution. The issue is fixed in Fleet 3.7.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-98052 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-10-06 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: bcmasp: clear txcb->last before writing each descriptor bcmasp_xmit() only wrote txcb->last = true for the final fragment of an SKB; non-final fragments left the field untouched. If a descriptor slot was reused while it still held a stale true from a previous SKB (possible when tx_spb_ring_full() underreported fullness), bcmasp_tx_reclaim() would see last == true mid-SKB and call dev_consume_skb_any() prematurely, freeing the sk_buff while its remaining fragments were still in flight. Unconditionally clear txcb->last before the conditional set so every descriptor slot starts from a known false state regardless of what a prior transmission left behind. | ||||

| CVE-2025-39682 | 3 Debian, Linux, Siemens | 4 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Simatic Cn 4100 and 1 more | 2026-09-21 | 9.8 Critical |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tls: fix handling of zero-length records on the rx_list Each recvmsg() call must process either - only contiguous DATA records (any number of them) - one non-DATA record If the next record has different type than what has already been processed we break out of the main processing loop. If the record has already been decrypted (which may be the case for TLS 1.3 where we don't know type until decryption) we queue the pending record to the rx_list. Next recvmsg() will pick it up from there. Queuing the skb to rx_list after zero-copy decrypt is not possible, since in that case we decrypted directly to the user space buffer, and we don't have an skb to queue (darg.skb points to the ciphertext skb for access to metadata like length). Only data records are allowed zero-copy, and we break the processing loop after each non-data record. So we should never zero-copy and then find out that the record type has changed. The corner case we missed is when the initial record comes from rx_list, and it's zero length. | ||||
| CVE-2023-1390 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 5 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus and 2 more | 2026-09-18 | 7.5 High |
| A remote denial of service vulnerability was found in the Linux kernel’s TIPC kernel module. The while loop in tipc_link_xmit() hits an unknown state while attempting to parse SKBs, which are not in the queue. Sending two small UDP packets to a system with a UDP bearer results in the CPU utilization for the system to instantly spike to 100%, causing a denial of service condition. | ||||
| CVE-2026-9547 | 2 Curl, Haxx | 2 Curl, Curl | 2026-09-15 | 7.4 High |
| When a libcurl-based application performs transfers via `SCP://` or `SFTP://` and utilizes the `CURLOPT_SSH_KEYFUNCTION` callback, it may silently accept an untrusted server. This vulnerability occurs when a server presents a host key type that does not match the specific key type already recorded for that host in the `known_hosts` file. Instead of rejecting the mismatch, the callback mechanism fails to properly enforce the restriction, allowing the connection to succeed without warning and risking a potential man-in-the-middle attack. | ||||
| CVE-2026-8932 | 2 Curl, Haxx | 2 Curl, Curl | 2026-09-15 | 7.5 High |
| libcurl would reuse a previously created connection even when some mTLS config related option had been changed that should have prohibited reuse. libcurl keeps previously used connections in a connection pool for subsequent transfers to reuse if one of them matches the setup. However, some TLS settings related to client certificates were left out from the configuration match checks, making them match too easily. In particular options related to the private key. | ||||
| CVE-2025-14017 | 2 Curl, Haxx | 2 Curl, Curl | 2026-09-15 | 6.3 Medium |
| When doing multi-threaded LDAPS transfers (LDAP over TLS) with libcurl, changing TLS options in one thread would inadvertently change them globally and therefore possibly also affect other concurrently setup transfers. Disabling certificate verification for a specific transfer could unintentionally disable the feature for other threads as well. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64321 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-14 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvme: target: rdma: fix ndev refcount leak on queue connect nvmet_rdma_queue_connect() calls nvmet_rdma_find_get_device() which acquires a reference on the returned ndev via kref_get(). On the path where the host queue backlog is exceeded and the function returns NVME_SC_CONNECT_CTRL_BUSY, reference of ndev is not released, leaking the kref. Fix this by adding a goto to the existing put_device label before the early return. | ||||
| CVE-2025-38660 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-14 | 9.8 Critical |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: [ceph] parse_longname(): strrchr() expects NUL-terminated string ... and parse_longname() is not guaranteed that. That's the reason why it uses kmemdup_nul() to build the argument for kstrtou64(); the problem is, kstrtou64() is not the only thing that need it. Just get a NUL-terminated copy of the entire thing and be done with that... | ||||
| CVE-2025-38097 | 2 Debian, Linux | 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel | 2026-09-14 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: espintcp: remove encap socket caching to avoid reference leak The current scheme for caching the encap socket can lead to reference leaks when we try to delete the netns. The reference chain is: xfrm_state -> enacp_sk -> netns Since the encap socket is a userspace socket, it holds a reference on the netns. If we delete the espintcp state (through flush or individual delete) before removing the netns, the reference on the socket is dropped and the netns is correctly deleted. Otherwise, the netns may not be reachable anymore (if all processes within the ns have terminated), so we cannot delete the xfrm state to drop its reference on the socket. This patch results in a small (~2% in my tests) performance regression. A GC-type mechanism could be added for the socket cache, to clear references if the state hasn't been used "recently", but it's a lot more complex than just not caching the socket. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64370 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-08 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: posix-cpu-timers: Fix pid refcount leak in do_cpu_nanosleep() error path In do_cpu_nanosleep(), posix_cpu_timer_create() takes a pid reference via get_pid() and stores it in timer.it.cpu.pid. If the subsequent posix_cpu_timer_set() call fails, the function returns immediately without calling posix_cpu_timer_del() to release the pid reference, causing a leak. Fix it by calling posix_cpu_timer_del() before the unlock-and-return on the error path, consistent with the other exit paths in the same function. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64376 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-08 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: firmware_loader: fix device reference leak in firmware_upload_register() firmware_upload_register() -> fw_create_instance() -> device_initialize() After fw_create_instance() succeeds, the lifetime of the embedded struct device is expected to be managed through the device core reference counting, since fw_create_instance() has already called device_initialize(). In firmware_upload_register(), if alloc_lookup_fw_priv() fails after fw_create_instance() succeeds, the code reaches free_fw_sysfs and frees fw_sysfs directly instead of releasing the device reference with put_device(). This may leave the reference count of the embedded struct device unbalanced, resulting in a refcount leak. The issue was identified by a static analysis tool I developed and confirmed by manual review. Fix this by using put_device(fw_dev) in the failure path and letting fw_dev_release() handle the final cleanup, instead of freeing the instance directly from the error path. | ||||
