| CVE-2026-107174 | 1 Redhat | 4 Openshift, Serverless, Source To Image and 1 more | 2026-10-07 | 6.4 Medium |
| A flaw was found in source-to-image. When unpacking archive files, the application fails to properly sanitize symbolic links pointing to absolute file paths. An attacker who supplies a malicious builder image can exploit this vulnerability by embedding links pointing outside the extraction directory. This allows the attacker to bypass sandbox boundaries, potentially leading to unauthorized information disclosure or file modification on the host system. | ||||
| CVE-2025-49796 | 1 Redhat | 15 Cert Manager, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 12 more | 2026-09-28 | 9.1 Critical |
| A vulnerability was found in libxml2. Processing certain sch:name elements from the input XML file can trigger a memory corruption issue. This flaw allows an attacker to craft a malicious XML input file that can lead libxml to crash, resulting in a denial of service or other possible undefined behavior due to sensitive data being corrupted in memory. | ||||
| CVE-2025-49794 | 1 Redhat | 14 Cert Manager, Enterprise Linux, Hummingbird and 11 more | 2026-09-28 | 9.1 Critical |
| A use-after-free vulnerability was found in libxml2. This issue occurs when parsing XPath elements under certain circumstances when the XML schematron has the <sch:name path="..."/> schema elements. This flaw allows a malicious actor to craft a malicious XML document used as input for libxml, resulting in the program's crash using libxml or other possible undefined behaviors. | ||||
| CVE-2025-7425 | 1 Redhat | 17 Cert Manager, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 14 more | 2026-08-31 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in libxslt where the attribute type, atype, flags are modified in a way that corrupts internal memory management. When XSLT functions, such as the key() process, result in tree fragments, this corruption prevents the proper cleanup of ID attributes. As a result, the system may access freed memory, causing crashes or enabling attackers to trigger heap corruption. | ||||
| CVE-2025-5914 | 2 Libarchive, Redhat | 19 Libarchive, Cert Manager, Confidential Compute Attestation and 16 more | 2026-08-31 | 7.8 High |
| A vulnerability has been identified in the libarchive library, specifically within the archive_read_format_rar_seek_data() function. This flaw involves an integer overflow that can ultimately lead to a double-free condition. Exploiting a double-free vulnerability can result in memory corruption, enabling an attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial-of-service condition. | ||||
| CVE-2025-6020 | 1 Redhat | 16 Cert Manager, Confidential Compute Attestation, Discovery and 13 more | 2026-06-30 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in linux-pam. The module pam_namespace may use access user-controlled paths without proper protection, allowing local users to elevate their privileges to root via multiple symlink attacks and race conditions. | ||||
| CVE-2025-57853 | 1 Redhat | 2 Web Terminal, Webterminal | 2026-05-01 | 6.4 Medium |
| A container privilege escalation flaw was found in certain Web Terminal images. This issue stems from the /etc/passwd file being created with group-writable permissions during build time. In certain conditions, an attacker who can execute commands within an affected container, even as a non-root user, can leverage their membership in the root group to modify the /etc/passwd file. This could allow the attacker to add a new user with any arbitrary UID, including UID 0, leading to full root privileges within the container. | ||||
| CVE-2025-7195 | 1 Redhat | 13 Acm, Advanced Cluster Security, Apicurio Registry and 10 more | 2026-04-20 | 6.4 Medium |
| Early versions of Operator-SDK provided an insecure method to allow operator containers to run in environments that used a random UID. Operator-SDK before 0.15.2 provided a script, user_setup, which modifies the permissions of the /etc/passwd file to 664 during build time. Developers who used Operator-SDK before 0.15.2 to scaffold their operator may still be impacted by this if the insecure user_setup script is still being used to build new container images. In affected images, the /etc/passwd file is created during build time with group-writable permissions and a group ownership of root (gid=0). An attacker who can execute commands within an affected container, even as a non-root user, may be able to leverage their membership in the root group to modify the /etc/passwd file. This could allow the attacker to add a new user with any arbitrary UID, including UID 0, leading to full root privileges within the container. | ||||
| CVE-2025-8941 | 1 Redhat | 13 Cert Manager, Confidential Compute Attestation, Discovery and 10 more | 2026-04-15 | 7.8 High |
| A flaw was found in linux-pam. The pam_namespace module may improperly handle user-controlled paths, allowing local users to exploit symlink attacks and race conditions to elevate their privileges to root. This CVE provides a "complete" fix for CVE-2025-6020. | ||||
