CVSS v3.1 |
| The Java Plug-in in Java SE Development Kit (JDK) and Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 Update 17 and earlier; 6 Update 12 and earlier; and 1.4.2_19 and earlier does not prevent Javascript that is loaded from the localhost from connecting to other ports on the system, which allows user-assisted attackers to bypass intended access restrictions via LiveConnect, aka CR 6724331. NOTE: this vulnerability can be leveraged with separate cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities for remote attack vectors. |
| dhcpd in ISC DHCP 3.0.4 and 3.1.1, when the dhcp-client-identifier and hardware ethernet configuration settings are both used, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (daemon crash) via unspecified requests. |
| The personality subsystem in the Linux kernel before 2.6.31-rc3 has a PER_CLEAR_ON_SETID setting that does not clear the ADDR_COMPAT_LAYOUT and MMAP_PAGE_ZERO flags when executing a setuid or setgid program, which makes it easier for local users to leverage the details of memory usage to (1) conduct NULL pointer dereference attacks, (2) bypass the mmap_min_addr protection mechanism, or (3) defeat address space layout randomization (ASLR). |
| Mozilla Firefox before 3.0.15 and 3.5.x before 3.5.4, and SeaMonkey before 2.0, does not properly handle a right-to-left override (aka RLO or U+202E) Unicode character in a download filename, which allows remote attackers to spoof file extensions via a crafted filename, as demonstrated by displaying a non-executable extension for an executable file. |
| Opera before 10.10, when exception stacktraces are enabled, places scripting error messages from a web site into variables that can be read by a different web site, which allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information or conduct cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks via unspecified vectors. |
| Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.1 and earlier does not prompt users before saving bookmarklets, which allows remote attackers to bypass the same-domain policy by tricking a user into saving a bookmarklet with a data: scheme, which is executed in the context of the last visited web page. |
| hidd in BlueZ (bluez-utils) before 2.25 allows remote attackers to obtain control of the (1) Mouse and (2) Keyboard Human Interface Device (HID) via a certain configuration of two HID (PSM) endpoints, operating as a server, aka HidAttack. |
| The default configuration of Sun ONE/iPlanet Web Server 4.1 SP1 through SP12 and 6.0 SP1 through SP5 responds to the HTTP TRACE request, which can allow remote attackers to steal information using cross-site tracing (XST) attacks in applications that are vulnerable to cross-site scripting. |
| During an address list folding when a separating comma ends up on a folded line and that line is to be unicode-encoded then the separator itself is also unicode-encoded. Expected behavior is that the separating comma remains a plan comma. This can result in the address header being misinterpreted by some mail servers. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
timekeeping: Adjust the leap state for the correct auxiliary timekeeper
When __do_ajdtimex() was introduced to handle adjtimex for any
timekeeper, this reference to tk_core was not updated. When called on an
auxiliary timekeeper, the core timekeeper would be updated incorrectly.
This gets caught by the lock debugging diagnostics because the
timekeepers sequence lock gets written to without holding its
associated spinlock:

Update the correct auxiliary timekeeper. |
| Botan is a C++ cryptography library. Prior to version 3.11.1, the TLS 1.3 implementation allowed ApplicationData records to be processed prior to the Finished message being received. A server which is attempting to enforce client authentication via certificates can by bypassed by a client which entirely omits Certificate, CertificateVerify, and the Finished message and instead sends application data records. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.11.1. |
| When applications specify HTTP response headers for servlet applications using Spring Security, there is the possibility that the HTTP Headers will not be written.
This issue affects Spring Security Servlet applications using lazy (default) writing of HTTP Headers:
: from 5.7.0 through 5.7.21, from 5.8.0 through 5.8.23, from 6.3.0 through 6.3.14, from 6.4.0 through 6.4.14, from 6.5.0 through 6.5.8, from 7.0.0 through 7.0.3. |
| Non-registered IRC users using (1) ircd-hybrid 7.0.1 and earlier, (2) ircd-ratbox 1.5.1 and earlier, or (3) ircd-ratbox 2.0rc6 and earlier do not have a rate-limit imposed, which could allow remote attackers to cause a denial of service by repeatedly making requests, which are slowly dequeued. |
| Internet Explorer 5 allows a remote attacker to modify the IE client's proxy configuration via a malicious Web Proxy Auto-Discovery (WPAD) server. |
| DHCP clients with ICMP Router Discovery Protocol (IRDP) enabled allow remote attackers to modify their default routes. |
| The security descriptor for RASMAN allows users to point to an alternate location via the Windows NT Service Control Manager. |
| The administrator/phpinfo.php script in Mambo Site Server 4.0.11 allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information such as the full web root path via phpinfo.php, which calls the phpinfo function. |
| The installation program for HP-UX Visualize Conference B.11.00.11 running on HP-UX 11.00 and 11.11 installs /etc/dt and its subdirecties with insecure permissions, which allows local users to read or write arbitrary files. |
| The which_access variable for Majordomo 2.0 through 1.94.4, and possibly earlier versions, is set to "open" by default, which allows remote attackers to identify the email addresses of members of mailing lists via a "which" command. |
| Auerswald COMsuite CTI ControlCenter 3.1 creates a default "runasositron" user account with an easily guessable password, which allows local users or remote attackers to gain access. |
