CVSS v3.1 |
| In NLnet Labs Unbound up to and including 1.26.0, a vulnerability was found in that can progressively corrupt heap memory and under certain systems and compilation options could lead to remote code execution. The vulnerability starts when CNAME synthesis during an upstream response needs to enforce(rewrite) a max TTL value in the packet buffer. Coupled with a compression pointer that points to the overwritten value and invalidates the domain name, it leads to an error path that does not properly move the buffer position and allows for the heap buffer overflow. Since this is heavily reliant on heap memory layout, results are memory corruption that eventually leads to a crash and under specific systems and compilation options remote code execution. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Remote Desktop Client allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Integer overflow in the packet buffer growth logic in PgBouncer through 1.25.2 allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause a denial of service. Sufficiently large input makes the buffer size computation overflow, leaving the growth loop unable to terminate. Because PgBouncer serves all clients from a single process, this saturates a CPU core and stalls every pooled connection until the process is killed. Both unauthenticated and authenticated code paths can reach the overflow. |
| In read_boot_region of fsck.c, there is a possible out of bounds read due to a heap buffer overflow. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In rw_mfc_handle_read_op of rw_mfc.cc, there is a possible memory safety issue due to a heap buffer overflow. This could lead to remote code execution with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In rw_mfc_handle_read_op of rw_mfc.cc, there is a possible out of bounds write due to an incorrect bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| Improper handling of length parameter inconsistency vulnerability in Apache Tomcat allows WebSocket message smuggling when per-message-deflate is used.
This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.25, from 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.59, from 9.0.0.M1 through 9.0.121.
The following versions were EOS at the time the CVE was created but are known to be affected: from 8.5.0 through 8.5.100, from 7.0.56 through 7.0.109. Other unsupported versions may also be affected.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.26, 10.1.60 or 9.1.22, which fix the issue. |
| Missing release of resource after effective lifetime, Comparison using wrong factors vulnerability in Apache Tomcat allows a denial of service as a result of lost time outs for asynchronous WebSocket writes.
This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.25, from 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.59, from 9.0.0.M1 through 9.0.121.
The following versions were EOL at the time the CVE was created but are known to be affected: from 8.5.0 through 8.5.100, from 7.0.43 through 7.0.109. Other unsupported versions may also be affected.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.26, 10.1.60 or 9.0.122, which fix the issue. |
| Uncontrolled Resource Consumption vulnerability in Apache Tomcat during sending of WebSocket close message enabled a DoS attack.
This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M5 through 11.0.25, from 10.1.8 through 10.1.59, from 9.0.74 through 9.0.121.
The following versions were EOL at the time the CVE was created but are
known to be affected: from 8.5.88 through 8.5.100. Other unsupported versions may also be affected.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.26, 10.1.60 or 9.0.122, which fix the issue. |
| A flaw was found in Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform's automation-
controller. The AWX_TASK_ENV setting accepts arbitrary environment variable
keys with no restriction, and its values are applied directly to the running
automation controller web and task processes rather than only to sandboxed
execution environments. A user with the system administrator role can set
variables such as REQUESTS_CA_BUNDLE, HTTPS_PROXY, SSLKEYLOGFILE, OPENSSL_CONF,
or LD_PRELOAD that reconfigure the control-plane process TLS trust store,
key-logging, OpenSSL engine, or dynamic linker. This enables silent interception
of the outbound TLS the control plane uses to fetch external secret-store
credentials and Red Hat subscription and Insights secrets, arbitrary file write
of TLS session keys, and potential native code execution in the control-plane
process, escalating an application administrator to compromise of the control
plane and all tenant secrets. |
| IBM MQ could allow an authenticated attacker to cause a denial of service or potentially escalate privileges due to a heap buffer overflow when processing MQPUT operations with malformed distribution headers. |
| FluidSynth is a software synthesizer based on the SoundFont 2 specifications. From 2.5.0 until 2.5.6, the native DLS parser validates articulation chunks using the unsigned expression cbsize + connblocks * 12 without first ensuring that the multiplication and addition fit in 32 bits. A crafted DLS file can supply a large connblocks value that wraps the expression and bypasses the chunk-size check, after which the parser performs approximately one billion 12-byte iterations beyond the chunk boundary. The excessive processing and invalid reads can cause denial of service. Builds with the CMake option enable-native-dls set to OFF do not expose the parser. This issue is fixed in version 2.5.6. |
| IBM MQ could allow an authenticated attacker to cause a denial of service or potentially execute arbitrary code due to a stack buffer overflow when processing XA transaction identifiers. |
| IBM MQ could allow an authenticated attacker to cause a denial of service or potentially execute arbitrary code due to an integer overflow in distribution list processing. |
| alsa-lib through 1.2.16.1 contains a denial of service vulnerability in the multi PCM plugin that fails to validate sparse binding indices before array access. Attackers can supply a malicious ALSA configuration file with sparse bindings to trigger an out-of-bounds array read and assertion failure, causing the application to abort. |
| A security flaw has been discovered in JusticeRage Manalyze 1.0.0. Impacted is the function PE::_parse_relocations of the file manape/pe.cpp of the component PE Parser. Performing a manipulation of the argument BlockSize results in integer underflow. The attack requires a local approach. The patch is named c372b6bbca9d8c63812be50596fefa4a79c65fd0. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. |
| A vulnerability was determined in Totolink A3002MU Hh-B20211125.1046. This impacts the function formWlAc of the file /boafrm/formWlAc. Executing a manipulation of the argument submit-url can lead to buffer overflow. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been publicly disclosed and may be utilized. |
| Out-of-bounds read in Microsoft Azure Attestation service and Device Health Attestation Service allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information over a network. |
| A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the vtkDICOMItem::FindDataElementOrInsert functionality of vtk-dicom (version(s): 9.5.2). A specially crafted DICOM file can lead to heap-based memory corruption. An attacker can provide a malicious file to trigger this vulnerability. |
| scim-patch is a library for applying SCIM patch operations. Prior to 0.9.2, navigate() reads inherited properties and assign() uses prototype-chain membership checks while resolving attacker-controlled SCIM PATCH paths. A path or one of the dotted value keys beginning with an inherited property such as toString can therefore traverse into a shared built-in function object and add attacker-controlled properties, causing process-global mutation that may affect application logic reading inherited-method properties. This issue is fixed in version 0.9.2. |
