| OpenTelemetry JavaScript Contrib provides instrumentation libraries for collecting telemetry from JavaScript applications. Prior to versions 0.66.0 of @opentelemetry/instrumentation-cassandra-driver, 0.65.0 of @opentelemetry/instrumentation-knex, 0.67.0 of @opentelemetry/instrumentation-mongoose, @opentelemetry/instrumentation-mysql, and @opentelemetry/instrumentation-mysql2, 0.46.0 of @opentelemetry/instrumentation-oracledb, 0.73.0 of @opentelemetry/instrumentation-pg, and 0.40.0 of @opentelemetry/instrumentation-tedious, the packages add the database connection username to every instrumented database operation as the db.user span attribute. The attribute is emitted by default and is not controlled by enhancedDatabaseReporting or another opt-in setting. Configured observability backends therefore receive database account names that may expose service topology, role or environment information, and account naming patterns. This issue is fixed in versions 0.66.0, 0.65.0, 0.67.0, 0.46.0, 0.73.0, and 0.40.0 of the respective packages. |
| A flaw was found in the User Session Note mapper of the Keycloak identity and access management solution. The issue occurs because the mapper does not validate whether a requested session note contains sensitive internal credentials, such as federated access tokens from external identity providers. This allows a delegated client administrator to leak a user's upstream bearer tokens into the tokens issued to their managed application, potentially leading to unauthorized access to the user's data on external platforms. |
| Unauthenticated Sensitive Data Exposure in Groundhogg <= 4.8.3 versions. |
| Unauthenticated Sensitive Data Exposure in SiteVault – Backup, Restore, Migration & Cloning <= 1.5.17 versions. |
| Insertion of Sensitive Information Into Sent Data vulnerability in StylemixThemes Motors allows Retrieve Embedded Sensitive Data.
This issue affects Motors: from n/a through 1.4.124. |
| DigitalCanion SA has discovered a vulnerability that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of the product. Authentication may be required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the Configuration → Services → Music on Hold functionality of the web portal listening on TCP port 443. The application is intended to allow users to upload WAV audio files but fails to properly validate the uploaded file type. An attacker can exploit this behavior to upload a malicious shared object (.so) instead of a WAV file. When the uploaded file is subsequently processed by the affected component, attacker-controlled code is loaded and executed in the context of the affected process. This can result in remote code execution and potentially full compromise of the underlying Linux system. |
| LibreOffice Calc can link a cell range to an external data source, and the link is saved in the document. A link of the sql type could name a folder of local text files as a database, so opening a document could read a local text file into the sheet. In fixed versions only the csv, html and xml data providers are restored when a document is loaded. |
| LibreOffice can link to audio and video files from a document, and on Linux it plays them with GStreamer. A linked media file could be an HLS playlist that made GStreamer read the local files and remote URLs it listed while the document loaded, and their contents could end up in the document. In fixed versions LibreOffice does not follow playlists that name further resources, and linked media is under link update control. |
| URLs could be constructed which expanded environment variable or INI file values, so potentially sensitive information could be exfiltrated to a remote server on opening a document containing such links. The check added for CVE-2024-12426 did not cover every place a document can supply a URL. XForms instance data and the Calc csv and sql data providers still reached the expansion. In fixed versions these places refuse URLs with internal schemes when the URL comes from the document. |
| Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From 0.7.2 until 6.64.0, any staff-level user was able to determine the relative ordering of other staff users' hashed passwords. This does not directly disclose password hashes, and does not provide a practical path to recovering a password. This issue is fixed in version 6.64.0. |
| Ghost is a Node.js content management system. From 4.39.0 until 6.64.0, staff users with permission to view staff invites were able to discover the secret token of pending invites, including invites for roles with higher privileges than their own. This could allow a staff user to escalate their privileges by accepting a pending invite. This issue is fixed in version 6.64.0. |
| Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. From 0.3.0 until 0.3.8, the @backstage/plugin-scaffolder-backend-module-sentry package is affected by improper input validation in sentry scaffolder actions. An authenticated internal user who can execute the affected actions may cause the backend to contact unintended destinations and disclose Sentry integration credentials. Subsequent impact depends on network reachability and the privileges granted to the configured token. This issue is fixed in version 0.3.8. |
| Insertion of Sensitive Information Into Sent Data vulnerability in Automattic WordPress allows Retrieve Embedded Sensitive Data.
This issue affects WordPress: from 7.1 through 7.1.2, from 7.0 through 7.0.6, from 6.9 through 6.9.9, from 6.8 through 6.8.10, from 6.7 through 6.7.9, and from 6.6 through 6.6.9. |
| A missing authorization vulnerability in the wgagent management daemon's session initialization function allows an authenticated, low-privileged user (including a read-only or guest administrator account) to crash the wgagent process and read arbitrary files accessible to the daemon by submitting a specially crafted management API request. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
firmware: arm_scpi: reject DVFS OPP count above MAX_DVFS_OPPS
scpi_dvfs_get_info() already rejected a zero opp_count, but still trusted
any larger value from the SCP firmware. The shared-memory reply only holds
MAX_DVFS_OPPS entries in buf.opps[]; a bigger count over-reads that array
and then sizes the allocated OPP table incorrectly (garbage OPPs / OOB).
The missing upper bound dates back to the original SCPI DVFS support.
Reject zero and out-of-range counts in one check and return -EINVAL. |
| Server-side request forgery in the OAuth2 discovery handling in Loom for AWS before 1.7.0 might allow an authenticated remote user to obtain the access token of another user of the deployment and to cause the application to issue requests to arbitrary internal network locations, via a crafted discovery document address supplied when registering a tool server or remote agent configured for delegated authentication.
To remediate this issue, users should upgrade to version 1.7.0 or later. |
