CVSS v3.1 |
During an internal security review, Lenovo identified a local privilege escalation vulnerability in Lenovo System Interface Foundation software installed on some Windows 10 PCs where a user with local privileges could run arbitrary code with administrator level privileges.
The video driver in Huawei Mate S smartphones with software CRR-TL00 before CRR-TL00C01B362, CRR-UL20 before CRR-UL20C00B362, CRR-CL00 before CRR-CL00C92B362, and CRR-CL20 before CRR-CL20C92B362; P8 smartphones with software GRA-TL00 before GRA-TL00C01B366, GRA-UL00 before GRA-UL00C00B366, GRA-UL10 before GRA-UL10C00B366, and GRA-CL00 before GRA-CL00C92B366; and Honor 6 and Honor 6 Plus smartphones with software before 6.9.16 allows attackers to cause a denial of service (device reboot) via a crafted application.
Unspecified vulnerability in the Oracle Platform Security for Java component in Oracle Fusion Middleware 12.1.3.0.0, 12.2.1.0.0, and 12.2.1.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability via unknown vectors, a different vulnerability than CVE-2016-5536.
Unspecified vulnerability in the PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM component in Oracle PeopleSoft Products 9.2 allows remote administrators to affect confidentiality and integrity via vectors related to Candidate Gateway.
Unspecified vulnerability in Oracle MySQL 5.6.30 and earlier and 5.7.12 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to affect integrity via vectors related to Server: InnoDB Plugin.
Unspecified vulnerability in the PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools component in Oracle PeopleSoft Products 8.54 and 8.55 allows remote attackers to affect confidentiality and integrity via vectors related to Mobile Application Platform.
Unspecified vulnerability in the PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM component in Oracle PeopleSoft Products 9.2 allows remote authenticated users to affect confidentiality and integrity via vectors related to Talent Acquisition Manager.
Unspecified vulnerability in the PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools component in Oracle PeopleSoft Products 8.54 and 8.55 allows remote attackers to affect confidentiality and integrity via vectors related to Integration Broker, a different vulnerability than CVE-2016-5529 and CVE-2016-5530.
Unspecified vulnerability in the PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools component in Oracle PeopleSoft Products 8.54 and 8.55 allows remote authenticated users to affect confidentiality and integrity via vectors related to LDAP.
MagpieRSS, as used in the front-end component in Nagios Core before 4.2.2 might allow remote attackers to read or write to arbitrary files by spoofing a crafted response from the Nagios RSS feed server. NOTE: this vulnerability exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2008-4796.
Alcatel-Lucent OmniVista 8770 2.0 through 3.0 exposes different ORBs interfaces, which can be queried using the GIOP protocol on TCP port 30024. An attacker can bypass authentication, and OmniVista invokes methods (AddJobSet, AddJob, and ExecuteNow) that can be used to run arbitrary commands on the server, with the privilege of NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM on the server. NOTE: The discoverer states "The vendor position is to refer to the technical guidelines of the product security deployment to mitigate this issue, which means applying proper firewall rules to prevent unauthorised clients to connect to the OmniVista server."
Directory traversal vulnerability in file "jcss.php" in Zikula 1.3.x before 1.3.11 and 1.4.x before 1.4.4 on Windows allows a remote attacker to launch a PHP object injection by uploading a serialized file.
The file scanning mechanism of JFilterInput::isFileSafe() in Joomla! CMS before 3.6.5 does not consider alternative PHP file extensions when checking uploaded files for PHP content, which enables a user to upload and execute files with the `.php6`, `.php7`, `.phtml`, and `.phpt` extensions. Additionally, JHelperMedia::canUpload() did not blacklist these file extensions as uploadable file types.
An issue was discovered in components/com_users/models/registration.php in Joomla! before 3.6.5. Incorrect filtering of registration form data stored to the session on a validation error enables a user to gain access to a registered user's account and reset the user's group mappings, username, and password, as demonstrated by submitting a form that targets the `registration.register` task.
An issue was discovered in Pivotal RabbitMQ 3.x before 3.5.8 and 3.6.x before 3.6.6 and RabbitMQ for PCF 1.5.x before 1.5.20, 1.6.x before 1.6.12, and 1.7.x before 1.7.7. MQTT (MQ Telemetry Transport) connection authentication with a username/password pair succeeds if an existing username is provided but the password is omitted from the connection request. Connections that use TLS with a client-provided certificate are not affected.
steps/mail/sendmail.inc in Roundcube before 1.1.7 and 1.2.x before 1.2.3, when no SMTP server is configured and the sendmail program is enabled, does not properly restrict the use of custom envelope-from addresses on the sendmail command line, which allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code via a modified HTTP request that sends a crafted e-mail message.
An issue was discovered in Asterisk Open Source 11.x before 11.25.1, 13.x before 13.13.1, and 14.x before 14.2.1 and Certified Asterisk 11.x before 11.6-cert16 and 13.x before 13.8-cert4. The chan_sip channel driver has a liberal definition for whitespace when attempting to strip the content between a SIP header name and a colon character. Rather than following RFC 3261 and stripping only spaces and horizontal tabs, Asterisk treats any non-printable ASCII character as if it were whitespace. This means that headers such as Contact\x01: will be seen as a valid Contact header. This mostly does not pose a problem until Asterisk is placed in tandem with an authenticating SIP proxy. In such a case, a crafty combination of valid and invalid To headers can cause a proxy to allow an INVITE request into Asterisk without authentication since it believes the request is an in-dialog request. However, because of the bug described above, the request will look like an out-of-dialog request to Asterisk. Asterisk will then process the request as a new call. The result is that Asterisk can process calls from unvetted sources without any authentication. If you do not use a proxy for authentication, then this issue does not affect you. If your proxy is dialog-aware (meaning that the proxy keeps track of what dialogs are currently valid), then this issue does not affect you. If you use chan_pjsip instead of chan_sip, then this issue does not affect you.
An issue was discovered in Apport before 2.20.4. A malicious Apport crash file can contain a restart command in `RespawnCommand` or `ProcCmdline` fields. This command will be executed if a user clicks the Relaunch button on the Apport prompt from the malicious crash file. The fix is to only show the Relaunch button on Apport crash files generated by local systems. The Relaunch button will be hidden when crash files are opened directly in Apport-GTK.
recoveryconsole/bpl/snmpd.php in Unitrends Enterprise Backup 7.3.0 allows remote attackers to bypass authentication by setting the auth parameter to a certain string.
Unspecified vulnerability in the MySQL Connector component 2.1.3 and earlier and 2.0.4 and earlier in Oracle MySQL allows remote attackers to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability via vectors related to Connector/Python.
