CVSS v3.1 |
Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 1.15.4, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-node package is affected by techdocs arbitrary file read via mkdocs snippets. Unsafe path resolution in TechDocs source tree handling allows an authenticated user who can register documentation sources to include content from outside the intended documentation boundary. Depending on deployment, this may expose files readable by the build process. This issue is fixed in version 1.15.4.
Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 4.1.0, the @backstage/plugin-scaffolder-backend package could expose sensitive information in Scaffolder task failure events. Under specific template and failure conditions, an authenticated user may retrieve backend-managed credentials used during task execution from affected task events. This issue is fixed in version 4.1.0.
| A vulnerability in the web-based management API for Cisco Application Policy Infrastructure Controller (APIC) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands as the root user. To exploit this vulnerability, the attacker must have valid administrative credentials.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation of user-controlled command arguments. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by authenticating using the API and sending crafted input. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system of an affected device with root-level privileges. |
This is a vulnerability in Bitbucket Data Center, Confluence Data Center, Jira Service Management Data Center, Jira Software Data Center, Bamboo Data Center. Crowd Data Center, Crucible and Fisheye. This Arbitrary File Access vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to access specific files within the web application root directory in affected versions. Exploitation requires prior knowledge of the target file's exact name and path; this vulnerability does not allow attackers to enumerate or list directory contents. In some configurations, there may be some sensitive files that make this highly severe. This vulnerability allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to access specific files within the web application root directory in affected versions. The vulnerability must be addressed for affected versions of: -- Bitbucket Data Center, introduced in version >= 4.6.0, fix versions: 9.4.26, 10.2.8, 10.5.1 -- Confluence Data Center, introduced in version >= 5.10.0, fix versions 9.2.26, 10.2.19 -- Crowd Data Center, introduced in version >= 2.11.0, fix versions 6.3.7, 7.0.3, 7.1.7, 7.2.4 -- Jira Software Data Center, introduced in version >= 7.1.0, fix versions 9.12.40, 10.3.26, 11.3.12 -- Jira Service Management Data Center, introduced in version >= 3.1.0, fix versions 5.12.40, 10.3.26, 11.3.12 -- Bamboo Data Center >= 7.0.1, fix versions 10.2.24, 12.1.12 -- Crucible, fix versions 4.9.15 -- Fisheye, fix version 4.9.15 -- Exploitation requires prior knowledge of the target file's exact name and path. The vulnerability does not include the capability to enumerate or list directory contents.
Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 1.14.8, 1.15.6, and 2.0.1, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-node package improperly validated mapping-style markdown_extensions configuration. An authenticated attacker who can register or influence an SCM-backed documentation source may bypass TechDocs sanitization and cause Python objects to be imported and instantiated in the generator runtime, leading to arbitrary code execution. Earlier fixes in versions 1.14.6 and 1.15.4 did not fully address the supported mapping representation of markdown_extensions. Impact is greatest when documentation generation runs with backend credentials, filesystem access, or internal network access. This issue is fixed in versions 1.14.8, 1.15.6, and 2.0.1.
In sshd and ssh in OpenSSH before 10.6, an LZ77 dictionary coder can be used even though this is contraindicated by the arXiv 2609.07709 "Crossing the Streams" findings.
This vulnerability in Veeam Backup & Replication allows a Backup Viewer to execute arbitrary code as SYSTEM on the backup server.
A local privilege escalation vulnerability in Kiteworks could have allowed an attacker with an existing shell under a low-privileged service account to escalate to root privileges on the appliance.
A privilege escalation vulnerability in Kiteworks could allow an attacker who has already obtained code execution as an unprivileged backend service account on the appliance to escalate to root. A privileged routine did not safely handle a filesystem path that the lower-privileged account could influence, allowing the attacker to cause a root-owned operation to run arbitrary commands with the highest privileges. Exploitation requires existing local access to that service account.
Kiteworks Core before version 9.5.0 is vulnerable to Deserialization of Untrusted Data. A deserialization weakness in Kiteworks Core could, under certain conditions, allow crafted data to be deserialized unsafely, potentially resulting in remote code execution on the appliance. Exploitation depends on an attacker first being able to influence the affected data, so this issue is not exploitable on its own.
IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) for RedHat OpenShift is vulnerable to unauthenticated remote code execution via Java native deserialization on the PayDir Business Rules Manager RMI SSL endpoint (BrmRMISSLServerSocketFactory.java:95, EP8). An adjacent-network attacker can deliver a crafted serialized payload to achieve arbitrary code execution, exposing all PayDir credentials and enabling manipulation of payment business rules.
The String locator WordPress plugin before 2.6.8 does not restrict the classes allowed when deserializing the content of a database row saved through its database editor, allowing unauthenticated attackers to store a serialized PHP object that is instantiated when an administrator later opens and saves that row. If a suitable POP chain is present via another installed String locator WordPress plugin before 2.6.8 or , this can lead to arbitrary file deletion, sensitive data disclosure or remote code execution.
An issue in dormakaba evolo Service (all versions) allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code as SYSTEM via a .NET component.
A flaw was found in Foreman. The foreman-rake initialization logic in /usr/share/foreman/config/settings.rb contains a vulnerable code pattern where configuration data is processed through two distinct executable layers. This creates a multi-stage execution chain that allows for both Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) and insecure deserialization. This vulnerability can lead to remote code execution, total infrastructure compromise and supply chain risk.
Dell Container Storage Modules, versions prior to 1.18.0, contain(s) an Insertion of Sensitive Information into Log File vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Information disclosure.

MCP TypeScript SDK is the official TypeScript SDK for Model Context Protocol servers and clients. Starting in version 1.12.0 and prior to versions 1.31.0 and 2.2.0, the SDK's OAuth client support let the MCP server a client connected to decide which authorization server received the client's OAuth credentials. Stored and pre-provisioned credentials were not bound to the authorization server they belong to. A malicious or compromised MCP server could name its own authorization server in its protected resource metadata. Without any user interaction, the client would send that server the `refresh_token` and `client_secret` stored from an earlier sign-in (1.x), or the configured `client_secret` or signed assertion of a bundled non-interactive provider (1.x and 2.x). Only those applications that use the SDK as an MCP client over HTTP with an `authProvider`: your own `OAuthClientProvider`, or the bundled `ClientCredentialsProvider`, `PrivateKeyJwtProvider`, `StaticPrivateKeyJwtProvider` or (2.x) `CrossAppAccessProvider` and that may connect to an MCP server the owners does not fully trust while holding credentials for a legitimate authorization server are affected. `@modelcontextprotocol/sdk` 1.31.0 (1.x) and `@modelcontextprotocol/client` 2.2.0 (2.x) patch the issue. A workaround for those who cannot upgrade is available. 2.0.0 and 2.1.0 already accept `expectedIssuer`. On 1.x, the only workaround is to connect OAuth-enabled clients only to MCP servers you trust.
Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 3.3.1, 3.4.1, 4.0.3 and 4.1.0, the @backstage/plugin-scaffolder-backend package is affected by improper task state validation in scaffolder backend. An authenticated user with permission to create and access Scaffolder tasks may, under specific timing and deployment conditions, affect files accessible to the Backstage backend. If backend application files are writable, the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the backend may be compromised. This issue is fixed in versions 3.3.1, 3.4.1, 4.0.3 and 4.1.0.
IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.12.2 could allow a remote authenticated attacker to obtain sensitive information due to insufficiently protected credentials.
Backstage is an open framework for building developer portals. Prior to 1.15.4, the @backstage/plugin-techdocs-node package is affected by potential file exposure through local techdocs publisher. When using the local TechDocs publisher (techdocs.publisher.type: 'local'), it was possible for the documentation serving endpoint to follow filesystem references outside the intended documentation tree, potentially exposing host files to authenticated users. This is mitigated by the fact that exploration requires preconditions that do not arise through normal MkDocs operation. Cloud-based publishers (S3, GCS, Azure Blob Storage) are not affected. This issue is fixed in version 1.15.4.
