CVE-2026-64549 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: bpa10x: avoid OOB read of revision string in bpa10x_setup() bpa10x_setup() sends the vendor command 0xfc0e and passes the response to bt_dev_info() and hci_set_fw_info() as a "%s" string starting at skb->data + 1, without checking the length: bt_dev_info(hdev, "%s", (char *)(skb->data + 1)); hci_set_fw_info(hdev, "%s", skb->data + 1); A device that returns a one-byte response (status only) leaves skb->data + 1 past the end of the data, and the %s walk reads adjacent slab memory until it meets a NUL. The same happens when the payload is not NUL-terminated within skb->len. The out-of-bounds bytes end up in the kernel log and the firmware-info debugfs file. Print the revision string with a bounded "%.*s" limited to skb->len - 1 instead. This keeps the string readable for well-behaved devices while never reading past the received data, and does not fail setup, so a device returning a short or unterminated response keeps working.
CVE-2026-64555 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: arm64: nv: Fix SPSR_EL2 restore in kvm_hyp_handle_mops() kvm_hyp_handle_mops() resets the single-step state machine as part of rewinding state for a MOPS exception by modifying vcpu_cpsr() and writing the result directly into hardware. In the case of nested virtualization, vcpu_cpsr() is a synthetic value such that the rest of KVM can deal with vEL2 cleanly. That means the value requires translation before being written into hardware, which is unfortunately missing from the MOPS handler. Fix it by directly modifying SPSR_EL2 and avoiding the synthetic state altogether, which will be resynchronized on the next 'full' exit back to KVM.
CVE-2025-37790 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: mctp: Set SOCK_RCU_FREE Bind lookup runs under RCU, so ensure that a socket doesn't go away in the middle of a lookup.
CVE-2025-37778 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 9.8 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ksmbd: Fix dangling pointer in krb_authenticate krb_authenticate frees sess->user and does not set the pointer to NULL. It calls ksmbd_krb5_authenticate to reinitialise sess->user but that function may return without doing so. If that happens then smb2_sess_setup, which calls krb_authenticate, will be accessing free'd memory when it later uses sess->user.
CVE-2025-37774 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: slab: ensure slab->obj_exts is clear in a newly allocated slab page ktest recently reported crashes while running several buffered io tests with __alloc_tagging_slab_alloc_hook() at the top of the crash call stack. The signature indicates an invalid address dereference with low bits of slab->obj_exts being set. The bits were outside of the range used by page_memcg_data_flags and objext_flags and hence were not masked out by slab_obj_exts() when obtaining the pointer stored in slab->obj_exts. The typical crash log looks like this: 00510 Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 0000000000000010 00510 Mem abort info: 00510 ESR = 0x0000000096000045 00510 EC = 0x25: DABT (current EL), IL = 32 bits 00510 SET = 0, FnV = 0 00510 EA = 0, S1PTW = 0 00510 FSC = 0x05: level 1 translation fault 00510 Data abort info: 00510 ISV = 0, ISS = 0x00000045, ISS2 = 0x00000000 00510 CM = 0, WnR = 1, TnD = 0, TagAccess = 0 00510 GCS = 0, Overlay = 0, DirtyBit = 0, Xs = 0 00510 user pgtable: 4k pages, 39-bit VAs, pgdp=0000000104175000 00510 [0000000000000010] pgd=0000000000000000, p4d=0000000000000000, pud=0000000000000000 00510 Internal error: Oops: 0000000096000045 [#1] SMP 00510 Modules linked in: 00510 CPU: 10 UID: 0 PID: 7692 Comm: cat Not tainted 6.15.0-rc1-ktest-g189e17946605 #19327 NONE 00510 Hardware name: linux,dummy-virt (DT) 00510 pstate: 20001005 (nzCv daif -PAN -UAO -TCO -DIT +SSBS BTYPE=--) 00510 pc : __alloc_tagging_slab_alloc_hook+0xe0/0x190 00510 lr : __kmalloc_noprof+0x150/0x310 00510 sp : ffffff80c87df6c0 00510 x29: ffffff80c87df6c0 x28: 000000000013d1ff x27: 000000000013d200 00510 x26: ffffff80c87df9e0 x25: 0000000000000000 x24: 0000000000000001 00510 x23: ffffffc08041953c x22: 000000000000004c x21: ffffff80c0002180 00510 x20: fffffffec3120840 x19: ffffff80c4821000 x18: 0000000000000000 00510 x17: fffffffec3d02f00 x16: fffffffec3d02e00 x15: fffffffec3d00700 00510 x14: fffffffec3d00600 x13: 0000000000000200 x12: 0000000000000006 00510 x11: ffffffc080bb86c0 x10: 0000000000000000 x9 : ffffffc080201e58 00510 x8 : ffffff80c4821060 x7 : 0000000000000000 x6 : 0000000055555556 00510 x5 : 0000000000000001 x4 : 0000000000000010 x3 : 0000000000000060 00510 x2 : 0000000000000000 x1 : ffffffc080f50cf8 x0 : ffffff80d801d000 00510 Call trace: 00510 __alloc_tagging_slab_alloc_hook+0xe0/0x190 (P) 00510 __kmalloc_noprof+0x150/0x310 00510 __bch2_folio_create+0x5c/0xf8 00510 bch2_folio_create+0x2c/0x40 00510 bch2_readahead+0xc0/0x460 00510 read_pages+0x7c/0x230 00510 page_cache_ra_order+0x244/0x3a8 00510 page_cache_async_ra+0x124/0x170 00510 filemap_readahead.isra.0+0x58/0xa0 00510 filemap_get_pages+0x454/0x7b0 00510 filemap_read+0xdc/0x418 00510 bch2_read_iter+0x100/0x1b0 00510 vfs_read+0x214/0x300 00510 ksys_read+0x6c/0x108 00510 __arm64_sys_read+0x20/0x30 00510 invoke_syscall.constprop.0+0x54/0xe8 00510 do_el0_svc+0x44/0xc8 00510 el0_svc+0x18/0x58 00510 el0t_64_sync_handler+0x104/0x130 00510 el0t_64_sync+0x154/0x158 00510 Code: d5384100 f9401c01 b9401aa3 b40002e1 (f8227881) 00510 ---[ end trace 0000000000000000 ]--- 00510 Kernel panic - not syncing: Oops: Fatal exception 00510 SMP: stopping secondary CPUs 00510 Kernel Offset: disabled 00510 CPU features: 0x0000,000000e0,00000410,8240500b 00510 Memory Limit: none Investigation indicates that these bits are already set when we allocate slab page and are not zeroed out after allocation. CVE-2025-37755 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: libwx: handle page_pool_dev_alloc_pages error page_pool_dev_alloc_pages could return NULL. There was a WARN_ON(!page) but it would still proceed to use the NULL pointer and then crash. This is similar to commit 001ba0902046 ("net: fec: handle page_pool_dev_alloc_pages error"). This is found by our static analysis tool KNighter.
CVE-2024-58241 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: hci_core: Disable works on hci_unregister_dev This make use of disable_work_* on hci_unregister_dev since the hci_dev is about to be freed new submissions are not disarable.
CVE-2024-58238 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: Bluetooth: btnxpuart: Resolve TX timeout error in power save stress test This fixes the tx timeout issue seen while running a stress test on btnxpuart for couple of hours, such that the interval between two HCI commands coincide with the power save timeout value of 2 seconds. Test procedure using bash script: <load btnxpuart.ko> hciconfig hci0 up //Enable Power Save feature hcitool -i hci0 cmd 3f 23 02 00 00 while (true) do hciconfig hci0 leadv sleep 2 hciconfig hci0 noleadv sleep 2 done Error log, after adding few more debug prints: Bluetooth: btnxpuart_queue_skb(): 01 0A 20 01 00 Bluetooth: hci0: Set UART break: on, status=0 Bluetooth: hci0: btnxpuart_tx_wakeup() tx_work scheduled Bluetooth: hci0: btnxpuart_tx_work() dequeue: 01 0A 20 01 00 Can't set advertise mode on hci0: Connection timed out (110) Bluetooth: hci0: command 0x200a tx timeout When the power save mechanism turns on UART break, and btnxpuart_tx_work() is scheduled simultaneously, psdata->ps_state is read as PS_STATE_AWAKE, which prevents the psdata->work from being scheduled, which is responsible to turn OFF UART break. This issue is fixed by adding a ps_lock mutex around UART break on/off as well as around ps_state read/write. btnxpuart_tx_wakeup() will now read updated ps_state value. If ps_state is PS_STATE_SLEEP, it will first schedule psdata->work, and then it will reschedule itself once UART break has been turned off and ps_state is PS_STATE_AWAKE. Tested above script for 50,000 iterations and TX timeout error was not observed anymore.
CVE-2024-58099 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2026-08-04 8.6 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vmxnet3: Fix packet corruption in vmxnet3_xdp_xmit_frame Andrew and Nikolay reported connectivity issues with Cilium's service load-balancing in case of vmxnet3. If a BPF program for native XDP adds an encapsulation header such as IPIP and transmits the packet out the same interface, then in case of vmxnet3 a corrupted packet is being sent and subsequently dropped on the path. vmxnet3_xdp_xmit_frame() which is called e.g. via vmxnet3_run_xdp() through vmxnet3_xdp_xmit_back() calculates an incorrect DMA address: page = virt_to_page(xdpf->data); tbi->dma_addr = page_pool_get_dma_addr(page) + VMXNET3_XDP_HEADROOM; dma_sync_single_for_device(&adapter->pdev->dev, tbi->dma_addr, buf_size, DMA_TO_DEVICE); The above assumes a fixed offset (VMXNET3_XDP_HEADROOM), but the XDP BPF program could have moved xdp->data. While the passed buf_size is correct (xdpf->len), the dma_addr needs to have a dynamic offset which can be calculated as xdpf->data - (void *)xdpf, that is, xdp->data - xdp->data_hard_start.
CVE-2024-58096 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 8.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath11k: add srng->lock for ath11k_hal_srng_* in monitor mode ath11k_hal_srng_* should be used with srng->lock to protect srng data. For ath11k_dp_rx_mon_dest_process() and ath11k_dp_full_mon_process_rx(), they use ath11k_hal_srng_* for many times but never call srng->lock. So when running (full) monitor mode, warning will occur: RIP: 0010:ath11k_hal_srng_dst_peek+0x18/0x30 [ath11k] Call Trace: ? ath11k_hal_srng_dst_peek+0x18/0x30 [ath11k] ath11k_dp_rx_process_mon_status+0xc45/0x1190 [ath11k] ? idr_alloc_u32+0x97/0xd0 ath11k_dp_rx_process_mon_rings+0x32a/0x550 [ath11k] ath11k_dp_service_srng+0x289/0x5a0 [ath11k] ath11k_pcic_ext_grp_napi_poll+0x30/0xd0 [ath11k] __napi_poll+0x30/0x1f0 net_rx_action+0x198/0x320 __do_softirq+0xdd/0x319 So add srng->lock for them to avoid such warnings. Inorder to fetch the srng->lock, should change srng's definition from 'void' to 'struct hal_srng'. And initialize them elsewhere to prevent one line of code from being too long. This is consistent with other ring process functions, such as ath11k_dp_process_rx(). Tested-on: WCN6855 hw2.0 PCI WLAN.HSP.1.1-03125-QCAHSPSWPL_V1_V2_SILICONZ_LITE-3.6510.30 Tested-on: QCN9074 hw1.0 PCI WLAN.HK.2.7.0.1-01744-QCAHKSWPL_SILICONZ-1
CVE-2024-58091 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/fbdev-dma: Add shadow buffering for deferred I/O DMA areas are not necessarily backed by struct page, so we cannot rely on it for deferred I/O. Allocate a shadow buffer for drivers that require deferred I/O and use it as framebuffer memory. Fixes driver errors about being "Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address" or "Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address". The patch splits drm_fbdev_dma_driver_fbdev_probe() in an initial allocation, which creates the DMA-backed buffer object, and a tail that sets up the fbdev data structures. There is a tail function for direct memory mappings and a tail function for deferred I/O with the shadow buffer. It is no longer possible to use deferred I/O without shadow buffer. It can be re-added if there exists a reliably test for usable struct page in the allocated DMA-backed buffer object.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rxrpc: Fix handling of received connection abort Fix the handling of a connection abort that we've received. Though the abort is at the connection level, it needs propagating to the calls on that connection. Whilst the propagation bit is performed, the calls aren't then woken up to go and process their termination, and as no further input is forthcoming, they just hang. Also add some tracing for the logging of connection aborts.
CVE-2024-58019 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvkm/gsp: correctly advance the read pointer of GSP message queue A GSP event message consists three parts: message header, RPC header, message body. GSP calculates the number of pages to write from the total size of a GSP message. This behavior can be observed from the movement of the write pointer. However, nvkm takes only the size of RPC header and message body as the message size when advancing the read pointer. When handling a two-page GSP message in the non rollback case, It wrongly takes the message body of the previous message as the message header of the next message. As the "message length" tends to be zero, in the calculation of size needs to be copied (0 - size of (message header)), the size needs to be copied will be "0xffffffxx". It also triggers a kernel panic due to a NULL pointer error. [ 547.614102] msg: 00000f90: ff ff ff ff ff ff ff ff 40 d7 18 fb 8b 00 00 00 ........@....... CVE-2024-58010 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: binfmt_flat: Fix integer overflow bug on 32 bit systems Most of these sizes and counts are capped at 256MB so the math doesn't result in an integer overflow. The "relocs" count needs to be checked as well. Otherwise on 32bit systems the calculation of "full_data" could be wrong. full_data = data_len + relocs * sizeof(unsigned long);
CVE-2024-58008 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KEYS: trusted: dcp: fix improper sg use with CONFIG_VMAP_STACK=y With vmalloc stack addresses enabled (CONFIG_VMAP_STACK=y) DCP trusted keys can crash during en- and decryption of the blob encryption key via the DCP crypto driver. This is caused by improperly using sg_init_one() with vmalloc'd stack buffers (plain_key_blob). Fix this by always using kmalloc() for buffers we give to the DCP crypto driver.
CVE-2024-58006 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 9.6 Critical
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: PCI: dwc: ep: Prevent changing BAR size/flags in pci_epc_set_bar() In commit 4284c88fff0e ("PCI: designware-ep: Allow pci_epc_set_bar() update inbound map address") set_bar() was modified to support dynamically changing the backing physical address of a BAR that was already configured. This means that set_bar() can be called twice, without ever calling clear_bar() (as calling clear_bar() would clear the BAR's PCI address assigned by the host). This can only be done if the new BAR size/flags does not differ from the existing BAR configuration. Add these missing checks. If we allow set_bar() to set e.g. a new BAR size that differs from the existing BAR size, the new address translation range will be smaller than the BAR size already determined by the host, which would mean that a read past the new BAR size would pass the iATU untranslated, which could allow the host to read memory not belonging to the new struct pci_epf_bar. While at it, add comments which clarifies the support for dynamically changing the physical address of a BAR. (Which was also missing.)
