CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
vmci: prevent speculation leaks by sanitizing event in event_deliver()
Coverity spotted that event_msg is controlled by user-space,
event_msg->event_data.event is passed to event_deliver() and used
as an index without sanitization.
This change ensures that the event index is sanitized to mitigate any
possibility of speculative information leaks.
This bug was discovered and resolved using Coverity Static Analysis
Security Testing (SAST) by Synopsys, Inc.
Only compile tested, no access to HW. |
| A vulnerbility was found in OpenSC. This security flaw cause a buffer overrun vulnerability in pkcs15 cardos_have_verifyrc_package. The attacker can supply a smart card package with malformed ASN1 context. The cardos_have_verifyrc_package function scans the ASN1 buffer for 2 tags, where remaining length is wrongly caculated due to moved starting pointer. This leads to possible heap-based buffer oob read. In cases where ASAN is enabled while compiling this causes a crash. Further info leak or more damage is possible. |
| A vulnerability was found in PHP where setting the environment variable PHP_CLI_SERVER_WORKERS to a large value leads to a heap buffer overflow. |
| A vulnerability was found in Exim and classified as problematic. This issue affects some unknown processing of the component Regex Handler. The manipulation leads to use after free. The name of the patch is 4e9ed49f8f12eb331b29bd5b6dc3693c520fddc2. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. The identifier VDB-211073 was assigned to this vulnerability. |
| Stack buffer overflow issues were found in Opensc before version 0.22.0 in various places that could potentially crash programs using the library. |
| Heap buffer overflow issues were found in Opensc before version 0.22.0 in pkcs15-oberthur.c that could potentially crash programs using the library. |
| The SingleDocParser::HandleFlowMap function in yaml-cpp (aka LibYaml-C++) 0.6.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (stack consumption and application crash) via a crafted YAML file. |
| The Scanner::EnsureTokensInQueue function in yaml-cpp (aka LibYaml-C++) 0.6.2 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (stack consumption and application crash) via a crafted YAML file. |
| Stack-based buffer overflow in DMitry (Deepmagic Information Gathering Tool) version 1.3a (Unix) allows attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a long argument. An example threat model is automated execution of DMitry with hostname strings found in local log files. |
| The SingleDocParser::HandleNode function in yaml-cpp (aka LibYaml-C++) 0.5.3 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (stack consumption and application crash) via a crafted YAML file. |
| An improper array index validation vulnerability exists in the determineMinMax functionality of OFFIS DCMTK 3.6.8. A specially crafted DICOM file can lead to an out-of-bounds write. An attacker can provide a malicious file to trigger this vulnerability. |
| An improper array index validation vulnerability exists in the nowindow functionality of OFFIS DCMTK 3.6.8. A specially crafted DICOM file can lead to an out-of-bounds write. An attacker can provide a malicious file to trigger this vulnerability. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amdgpu: don't access invalid sched
Since 2320c9e6a768 ("drm/sched: memset() 'job' in drm_sched_job_init()")
accessing job->base.sched can produce unexpected results as the initialisation
of (*job)->base.sched done in amdgpu_job_alloc is overwritten by the
memset.
This commit fixes an issue when a CS would fail validation and would
be rejected after job->num_ibs is incremented. In this case,
amdgpu_ib_free(ring->adev, ...) will be called, which would crash the
machine because the ring value is bogus.
To fix this, pass a NULL pointer to amdgpu_ib_free(): we can do this
because the device is actually not used in this function.
The next commit will remove the ring argument completely.

| FreeRDP is a free remote desktop protocol library and clients. Affected versions of FreeRDP are missing input length validation in `drive` channel. A malicious server can trick a FreeRDP based client to read out of bound data and send it back to the server. This issue has been addressed in version 2.9.0 and all users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should not use the drive redirection channel - command line options `/drive`, `+drives` or `+home-drive`. |
| Use after free in append_command in GitHub repository vim/vim prior to 8.2.4895. This vulnerability is capable of crashing software, Bypass Protection Mechanism, Modify Memory, and possible remote execution |
| A heap-based buffer overflow flaw was found in libmodbus in function modbus_reply() in src/modbus.c. |
| A vulnerability was found in DCMTK 3.6.9. It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the component dcmjpls JPEG-LS Decoder. The manipulation leads to memory corruption. The attack can be initiated remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The name of the patch is 3239a7915. It is recommended to apply a patch to fix this issue. |
