CVE-2026-84233 1 Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux, Hardened Images, Hummingbird 2026-10-02 7 High
A flaw was found in rpm. A local attacker could supply a specially crafted `.gem` filename containing RPM macro syntax. When a user or automated workflow invokes `rpmuncompress -x` on this file, the macro expansion occurs during command construction. This allows the attacker to execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the invoking account, leading to a compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
CVE-2026-56392 1 Gnu 1 Coreutils 2026-10-02 6.1 Medium
GNU coreutils unexpand is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow due to an integer overflow during buffer allocation when processing large tab stop (-t) values. The multiplication used to calculate the allocation size can wrap around, resulting in an undersized buffer. When processing crafted input, subsequent writes exceed the allocated memory, leading to an out‑of‑bounds heap write. When running GNU coreutils unexpand with attacker-provided large tab stop (-t) arguments, this behavior leads to a crash and potentially achieve a heap write primitive depending on memory layout. This issue has been fixed in the commit b60a159fdc5bfcf9988d3a4cb6f53abe8ad5d35d

CVE-2026-86035 1 Weblate 1 Weblate 2026-10-02 8.5 High
Weblate is a web-based continuous localization platform used to manage software translations. Weblate 4.11.1 through 2026.7.1 contains an argument-injection vulnerability in its Mercurial backend. Repository filenames beginning with - could be interpreted as Mercurial options instead of literal paths. An authenticated user with project-scoped component.edit permission could exploit this through a Mercurial-backed RESX component using the Update RESX files add-on. A later repository update could execute arbitrary commands with the privileges of the Weblate service account. This is a residual incomplete fix for CVE-2022-23915. This issue has been patched in version 2026.8.
CVE-2026-102937 2 Pypa, Python 2 Virtualenv, Virtualenv 2026-10-02 7.8 High
virtualenv is a tool for creating isolated virtual python environments. Prior to 21.7.12, BatchActivator.quote() returns prompt text unchanged before activate.bat inserts it into a cmd.exe set "VAR=value" statement. An attacker who influences --prompt, VIRTUALENV_PROMPT, or the corresponding configuration value can include a double quote that closes the assignment and leaves following cmd.exe operators as executable syntax. When a user activates the generated Windows environment, the injected commands run with that user's privileges. This issue is fixed in version 21.7.12.
CVE-2026-102906 1 0xshariq 1 Github-mcp-server 2026-10-02 6.3 Medium

This issue affects the function child_process.exec of the file src/github.ts of the component Git Remove MCP Tool. Such manipulation of the argument File leads to os command injection. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. This product implements a rolling release for ongoing delivery, which means version information for affected or updated releases is unavailable. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
CVE-2026-102757 1 Eclipse 1 Threadx 2026-10-02 N/A
An unprivileged, memory-protected ThreadX module can have the kernel read and write memory at addresses of its choosing, in privileged mode, and can use that to clear the MPU enable bit and remove its own isolation boundary. The Module Manager decided whether a privileged service could dereference an object address a module named by asking only whether that address fell outside the module. The manager's object pool is outside every module, so the test was satisfied by an address shifted into the interior of one of the module's own privileged allocations, which denotes no object at all. The bytes such an address presents as a control block are bytes the module put there through ordinary create and set services, so the control block ID at the front of them could be made to read as any type the module chose, and the `_txe_` layer's ID test then agreed. The reported chain uses that to reach a privileged `memset` across an attacker-chosen range.
CVE-2026-94633 1 Apache 1 Thrift 2026-10-02 7.5 High
Memory allocation with excessive size value, Improper handling of length parameter inconsistency vulnerability in Apache Thrift Dart bindings. This issue affects Apache Thrift: before 0.25.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.25.0, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2023-52355 2 Libtiff, Redhat 7 Libtiff, Ai Inference Server, Discovery and 4 more 2026-10-02 7.5 High
An out-of-memory flaw was found in libtiff that could be triggered by passing a crafted tiff file to the TIFFRasterScanlineSize64() API. This flaw allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via a crafted input with a size smaller than 379 KB.
CVE-2026-102514 1 Peazip 1 Peazip 2026-10-01 N/A
Out-of-bounds Write (CWE-787) in the PEA archive extraction routine (pea.pas, unpea_procedure) of the first-party pea component in PeaZip 11.2.0 and earlier allows an attacker who convinces a victim to open or extract a crafted .pea archive to execute arbitrary code as the user running PeaZip. While decompressing a PCOMPRESS1 stream, the 32-bit compressed-block-size field of the first block (compsize) is read directly from the archive and used without validation as the length of a blockread into the fixed-size global buffers wbuf1/wbuf2 (1,114,112 bytes) and as the bound of the subsequent copy loop. The existing check "compsize > WBUFSIZE" is applied only to the size of each following block, so the first block escapes it; the same unvalidated value is also used to index wbuf1[compsize], an out-of-bounds read at an attacker-chosen offset. The copy loop additionally copies the requested length instead of the number of bytes actually read, and terminates on equality rather than on an upper bound. Because the project is built without range checking and no archive password, integrity tag or non-default configuration is required, the overflow overwrites adjacent global data; code execution was demonstrated by two independent researchers against the official Linux x86-64 and Windows x64 builds, and the denial-of-service and memory-corruption primitive is cross-platform (Windows, macOS, Linux, BSD).
CVE-2026-16524 1 Redhat 9 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Openshift and 6 more 2026-10-01 7.8 High
A command injection flaw in PCP's linux_sockets PMDA allows malicious shell metacharacters via the network.persocket.filter metric. This failed validation lets attackers execute arbitrary commands as the PMDA user when metrics refresh.
CVE-2026-93264 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-01 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/efa: Fix PBL chunk length computation On register MR, when creating the PBL, if it's an indirect PBL we create a chunk list to hold the PBL pages pointers. Each chunk is 4KB in size and can hold 510 addresses (EFA_PTRS_PER_CHUNK) and has a 12-byte control buffer at the end of it holding the next chunk's pointer and its length. If the PBL number of pages is a multiple of EFA_PTRS_PER_CHUNK, the calculated last chunk length is wrongly computed as 0, even though that chunk is fully populated with 510 real page pointers. This wrong length is used both to DMA map the chunk and is propagated to the device, causing the device to see the chunk as empty and reject the memory registration. Fix the calculation so it will be performed only if the number of pages isn't a multiple of EFA_PTRS_PER_CHUNK, if it is, its already handled in the above loop correctly. Also prevent out-of-bounds reach in the chunks array in such scenario.
CVE-2026-103484 1 Pgvector 1 Pgvector 2026-10-01 8.8 High
IVFFlat index build in pgvector before 0.8.7 allows a database user to write data out-of-bounds, which can lead to arbitrary code execution.

Attackers can input a 300-byte payload of repeated characters through the Properties dialog to trigger a denial of service condition.
CVE-2018-25223 2 Crashmail, Ftnapps 2 Crashmail, Crashmail Ii 2026-10-01 9.8 Critical
Crashmail 1.6 contains a stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability that allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by sending malicious input to the application. Attackers can craft payloads with ROP chains to achieve code execution in the application context, with failed attempts potentially causing denial of service.
