CVE-2026-68495 1 Fasterxml 1 Jackson-dataformats-binary 2026-10-01 7.5 High
The CBOR parser in FasterXML jackson-dataformats-binary never invokes StreamReadConstraints.validateNameLength() when decoding JSON object property names, so the maxNameLength limit is not enforced for this format. CBORParser._decodeLongerName() decodes a definite-length property name with no length check, and CBORParser._decodeChunkedName() delegates to the value-oriented _finishChunkedText() routine, which validates maxStringLength rather than maxNameLength. An attacker who can have a CBOR document parsed may therefore embed a single property name of unbounded length; the parser buffers the whole name in memory before returning it, whatever maxNameLength is configured to. Because StreamReadConstraints.maxDocumentLength is also disabled by default, nothing else bounds the name under default settings, so the only limits are the attacker's upload capacity and available heap, leading to memory exhaustion and denial of service. No privileges beyond the ability to submit data to a parsing endpoint are required, and exploitation needs only that the bytes reach CBORFactory parsing, directly or through an ObjectMapper configured with the CBOR module. jackson-core's own JSON parsers enforce maxNameLength incrementally during name decoding; this gap is specific to the binary formats. maxNameLength and validateNameLength were introduced in jackson-core 2.16.0, so releases before 2.16.0 do not contain the constraint that is left unenforced. This issue is tracked together with the Smile parser defect in the same vendor advisory, GHSA-3v8f-v6vx-fmrm, which covers both binary formats. The CBOR parser defect (jackson-dataformats-binary issue #725) is CVE-2026-68495; the Smile parser defect (issue #726) is assigned CVE-2026-68496.
CVE-2026-103472 1 Corvusoft 1 Restbed 2026-10-01 7.5 High
restbed through 5.0.0 accepts WebSocket frames with declared payload lengths up to 2^63 bytes and buffers the payload without size limits in an unbounded stream buffer. Remote unauthenticated attackers can declare large frame sizes and stream payload data to exhaust server memory, causing denial of service through process crash.
CVE-2026-103471 1 Corvusoft 1 Restbed 2026-10-01 7.5 High
restbed through 5.0.0 buffers HTTP request headers without enforcing a maximum size limit, allowing remote unauthenticated attackers to exhaust server memory. Attackers can open TCP connections and stream bytes indefinitely without sending the header delimiter, forcing the server to allocate unbounded heap memory until the process is killed.
CVE-2026-101881 1 Openclaw 1 Openclaw Windows Node 2026-10-01 6.5 Medium
OpenClaw Windows Node before 2026.7.1 contains an allocation of resources without limits vulnerability in the gateway WebSocket transport that allows connected gateways to exhaust node memory. Attackers can send an unending sequence of WebSocket continuation frames without EndOfMessage to cause unbounded memory growth until the node process crashes.
CVE-2026-81699 1 Jahlives 1 Openssl Encrypt 2026-10-01 7.5 High
openssl_encrypt versions before 1.4.9 fail to properly validate key derivation function costs in crafted files, allowing attackers to trigger unbounded memory and CPU exhaustion during pre-authentication processing. Attackers can supply malicious files with excessive KDF parameters to exhaust system resources and crash or wedge the process before password verification occurs.
CVE-2026-74878 1 Jahlives 1 Openssl Encrypt 2026-10-01 9.8 Critical
openssl_encrypt versions before 1.4.0 use an in-memory rate limiter for TOTP brute-force protection that is not shared across workers and is lost on server restart. Attackers can distribute authentication attempts across multiple server instances or retry immediately after a restart to bypass rate limiting protections.
CVE-2026-74039 1 Wazuh 2 Wazuh, Wazuh-manager 2026-10-01 6.5 Medium
Wazuh 4.0.0 before 4.14.7 and 5.0.0-beta2 contain a denial of service vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with allow_run_as enabled to exhaust CPU resources by submitting arbitrarily deeply nested JSON structures to the POST /security/user/authenticate/run_as endpoint. Attackers can repeatedly submit malformed auth_context bodies with unlimited nesting depth to cause the API framework to consume excessive CPU, denying service to all other API consumers.
CVE-2026-73108 1 Rustdesk 1 Rustdesk 2026-10-01 7.5 High
RustDesk versions before 1.4.7 contain an uncontrolled speculative memory allocation vulnerability in BytesCodec. Before authentication, the decoder trusts the payload length encoded in a four-byte frame header and reserves that amount before receiving the payload. A crafted header can request up to 1,073,741,823 bytes of capacity, allowing unauthenticated attackers to use concurrent TCP connections to cause memory exhaustion and denial of service. The fix caps header-triggered speculative preallocation at 256 KiB.
CVE-2026-54389 2 Nationalsecurityagency, Nsa 2 Ghidra, Ghidra 2026-10-01 5.5 Medium
Ghidra before 12.1.3 contains an uncontrolled resource consumption vulnerability in the PDB parser that allows attackers to terminate the Ghidra process by supplying a crafted PDB file with an oversized parameters section. The AbstractPdb deserialization routine reads all remaining parameters into an unbounded list, causing uncontrolled heap growth that triggers an OutOfMemoryError which bypasses exception handling and crashes the application.
CVE-2026-94250 1 Apache Software Foundation 1 Apache Apisix 2026-10-01 N/A
Allocation of resources without limits or throttling vulnerability in batch-requests plugin in Apache APISIX. An unauthenticated caller can drive a gateway worker into OOM via a route where the batch-requests plugin is used and the batch endpoint is publicly exposed. This issue affects Apache APISIX: from 1.3.0 through 3.18.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.19.0, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-103261 1 Tornadoweb 1 Tornado 2026-10-01 5.3 Medium
Tornado before 6.5.9 fails to limit the number of query string fields in HTTPServerRequest.__init__, allowing remote attackers to cause event-loop stalling by sending requests with thousands of query parameters. Attackers can send unauthenticated GET requests with unbounded query-string field counts to degrade response times for all clients sharing the same IOLoop.
CVE-2026-102278 1 Juliangruber 1 Brace-expansion 2026-10-01 7.5 High
The brace-expansion library generates arbitrary strings containing a common prefix and suffix. Prior to 1.1.20, 2.1.6, 3.0.8, and 5.0.11, deeply nested brace groups cause expand_() to recurse once per nesting level at comma-member and single-set expansion sites, exhausting the native stack before output limits can apply and potentially terminating the Node.js process. expand_ performs uncontrolled recursion for nested brace alternatives and single-part sets. deeply nested brace groups supplied as an untrusted pattern. expand_ is affected. expand is affected. Comma members is affected. Single set is affected. native stack exhaustion during nested sub-expansion. process-terminating denial of service. This issue is fixed in versions 1.1.20, 2.1.6, 3.0.8, and 5.0.11.
CVE-2026-101911 1 Beaugunderson 1 Ip-address 2026-10-01 5.3 Medium
ip-address is a library for parsing and manipulating IPv4 and IPv6 addresses in JavaScript. Prior to 10.7.1, the Address6 constructor, Address6.isValid, and parse code in src/ipv6.ts accept unbounded strings and expand invalid characters through RE_BAD_CHARACTERS into large diagnostics. Material impact occurs only when an application accepts a very large attacker-controlled field and passes it to Address6 parsing without an earlier length bound. Common URL and header limits, and common body-parser defaults, generally constrain the effect; common defaults typically exclude 32 MiB fields. Megabyte-scale fields can cause a synchronous stall and high transient memory use, approximately 16 MiB can trigger an invalid string length exception, and process termination occurs at approximately 32 MiB. The affected entry points include Address6.isValid and construction paths that reach parse. This issue is fixed in version 10.7.1.
CVE-2026-47567 1 Nvidia 7 Geforce, Guest Driver, Nvs and 4 more 2026-09-30 5.5 Medium
NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Linux contains a vulnerability in the kernel mode layer, where a user could cause uncontrolled resource consumption by exhausting the DRM VMA offset address space. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to denial of service.
CVE-2026-47568 1 Nvidia 7 Geforce, Guest Driver, Nvs and 4 more 2026-09-30 5.5 Medium
NVIDIA GPU Display Driver for Linux contains a vulnerability in the kernel mode layer where a user could cause uncontrolled kernel log generation by repeatedly invoking an interface that emits unrate-limited error messages. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to denial of service.
CVE-2026-102713 1 Eclipse 1 Netx Duo 2026-09-30 N/A
The TFTP server accepts a DATA datagram of any size. The dispatcher rejects datagrams shorter than four bytes (nxd_tftp_server.c:1037) and nothing anywhere checks an upper bound, in particular not against the protocol maximum of 4 + NX_TFTP_FILE_TRANSFER_MAX. Two things follow from that one missing check, both reachable before any authentication because TFTP has none. The handler passes `nx_packet_length - 4` straight to FileX: ```c /* addons/tftp/nxd_tftp_server.c:1863, 1889 */ status = nx_packet_copy(packet_ptr, &temp_ptr, server_ptr -> nx_tftp_server_packet_pool_ptr, NX_WAIT_FOREVER); ... fx_file_write(&(client_request_ptr -> nx_tftp_client_request_file), packet_ptr -> nx_packet_prepend_ptr + 4, packet_ptr -> nx_packet_length - 4); ``` `nx_packet_length` is the length of a chain, not of one contiguous buffer, so FileX copies past the end of the first packet: ``` ERROR: AddressSanitizer: heap-buffer-overflow READ of size 1280 at 0x621000001108 thread T5 #0 __interceptor_memcpy #1 _fx_utility_memory_copy filex/common/src/fx_utility_memory_copy.c:78 0x621000001108 is 0 bytes to the right of 4104-byte region ``` Those bytes are written into the file the attacker is uploading, and a TFTP read request hands them back, so this is a memory disclosure with a convenient retrieval channel. The same datagram also wedges the server. `nx_packet_copy` at :1863 needs ceil(nx_packet_length / pool_payload) packets and asks for them with NX_WAIT_FOREVER, so when the attacker sizes the datagram beyond what the pool holds, the server thread suspends and never returns. A liveness probe after one such datagram times out with the pool at 0 of 12 packets and the server thread suspended, and no later client is served. Reject `nx_packet_length > 4 + NX_TFTP_FILE_TRANSFER_MAX` in the DATA branch before either call, and use a bounded wait rather than NX_WAIT_FOREVER for the copy.
CVE-2026-94029 1 Apache 1 Mina Sshd 2026-09-30 6.5 Medium
Server-side memory exhaustion in Apache MINA SSHD 1.0.0 to 2.19.0 and 3.0.0-M1 to 3.0.0-M5, component sshd-sftp, in the SFTP v6 check-file-name/check-file-handle extension. Apache MINA SSHD is a Java library for client-side and server-side SSH. Using a very small "block size" (for instance 256, which is the minimum) on a huge file generates many (file size / block size) hashes. The resulting SFTP reply message was accumulated fully in memory server-side, which could, with a suitably large (possibly sparse) file exhaust the server-side memory, taking down the server. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.20.0 or 3.0.0-M6, which fix this issue by imposing a maximum limit on the size of the reply. Many SFTP implementations have a general limit on the size of SFTP messages anyway; typically 256kB as in OpenSSH or also in Apache MINA SSHD.
CVE-2026-102821 1 Eugeny 1 Russh 2026-09-30 6.5 Medium
Russh is a Rust SSH client and server library. Prior to 0.63.2, an authenticated remote peer can send SSH_MSG_KEXINIT without the required SSH_MSG_KEX_ECDH_INIT and then flood SSH_MSG_CHANNEL_OPEN messages while SessionKexState::InProgress prevents priority_receiver in russh/src/server/session.rs from being drained. The server continues processing network input and enqueues a ChannelOpenReply for each request on an unbounded channel, allowing one connection to grow memory until the process is terminated. This issue is fixed in version 0.63.2.
CVE-2026-76992 1 Codesys 15 Codesys Development System 3, Codesys Edge Gateway For Linux, Codesys Edge Gateway For Windows and 12 more 2026-09-30 7.5 High
The CODESYS Gateway Client allocates memory based on a size field in a gateway response without enforcing an appropriate upper limit. An unauthenticated remote attacker controlling a malicious gateway can exploit this behavior to trigger excessive memory consumption, resulting in a denial-of-service condition thus leading to a total loss of availablity.
CVE-2026-100826 1 Mozilla 1 Firefox 2026-09-30 6.5 Medium
Denial-of-service in the Storage: StorageManager component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox ESR 153.4, Thunderbird 157, Thunderbird 153.4, and Firefox 157.
