| An improper privilege management vulnerability (CWE-269) exists in the command shell of Wind River VxWorks 7 when configured to enforce per-user command privileges. Under certain shell operations, a command may be evaluated without the privilege check that is normally applied, allowing an authenticated user with limited privileges to execute commands they are not authorized to run. Successful exploitation can result in privilege escalation, with impact to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the affected device. The issue affects all versions of VxWorks 7 prior to 26.09. It has been fixed in 26.09. |
| The Super Forms – Drag & Drop Form Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 6.3.316. This is due to the Register & Login add-on's before_email_success_msg() function whitelisting the client-submitted 'role' key and copying it into the user-data array that is passed directly to wp_insert_user(), without validating the submitted role against the administrator-configured register_user_role, without an allow-list, and without any current_user_can() capability check. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to register a new account with the Administrator role by injecting role=administrator into the data submitted to any published Super Forms registration form (register_login_action='register'). |

| Attacker model / Preconditions: a loaded `TXM_MODULE_USER_MODE | TXM_MODULE_MEMORY_PROTECTION` module issuing kernel dispatch calls, on a build with `TX_ENABLE_EVENT_TRACE`.
A user-mode, memory-protected module can register an arbitrary function pointer as the global trace-full callback. The kernel calls it directly — no validation, no trampoline — from privileged kernel code when the trace buffer wraps.
An invalid pointer faults the kernel (DoS). A pointer into the module's own code was observed running with kernel privilege (`CONTROL.nPRIV = 0`), confirmed at runtime with a register capture inside that code. |

| Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Prior to 41.10.6, 42.9.2, 43.4.1, and 44.0.0-beta.5, an Electron <webview> guest could enable nodeIntegrationInWorker for its Web Workers even when the unsandboxed embedder had Node.js integration disabled, allowing untrusted guest content to create a Node-enabled worker with more privilege than the embedder granted. Applications that do not enable the <webview> tag or that keep the embedder sandboxed are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 41.10.6, 42.9.2, 43.4.1, and 44.0.0-beta.5. |
