Dell OpenManage Server Administrator, versions prior to 11.1.0.3, contains an Improper Privilege Management vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Elevation of privileges.
Dell OpenManage Server Administrator, versions prior to 11.1.0.3, contains an Improper Privilege Management vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Information tampering and Unauthorized access.
Penpot is an open-source design and prototyping platform. Prior to 2.18.0, the delete-team-member RPC allows a team administrator to remove any member other than themselves but does not protect the team owner. A non-owner administrator can delete the owner's team-profile-rel membership and lock the owner out of the team and its projects, files, fonts, and media. This issue is fixed in version 2.18.0.
Plane is an open-source project management tool. Prior to 1.3.0, the ProjectMemberViewSet.partial_update method allows any project member, including a user with the lowest GUEST role, to modify another project member's role. The authorization check prevents assigning a role higher than the requester's role but does not prevent assigning a lower or equal role, allowing a Guest to demote Administrators and Members and deny them project control. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.3.0.
Privilege escalation in the WebExtensions component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 156, Firefox ESR 115.41, Firefox ESR 140.16, Firefox ESR 153.3, Thunderbird 156, Thunderbird 140.16, and Thunderbird 153.3.
Privilege escalation in the DOM: Service Workers component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 156, Firefox ESR 115.41, Firefox ESR 140.16, Firefox ESR 153.3, Thunderbird 156, Thunderbird 140.16, and Thunderbird 153.3.
Penpot is an open-source design and prototyping platform. Prior to 2.18.0, create-team-invitations and the invitation acceptance path allow a non-owner team administrator to assign the owner role because invitation roles are persisted and applied without the role-ceiling check used by update-team-member-role. An administrator can invite another account as an owner, create multiple owners, and then use the new owner account to obtain owner-only control over the team. This issue is fixed in version 2.18.0.
Ghost 0.5.0 before 6.64.0 does not correctly restrict staff role assignment, allowing users with the Editor or Super Editor role to assign their own role to other staff despite lacking permission to do so. An authenticated Editor or Super Editor can promote Author and Contributor users to Editor or Super Editor.
LaraDashboard before 1.4.8 contains an improper privilege management vulnerability that allows authenticated Admin users to escalate to Superadmin by editing or renaming roles. Attackers with role.edit can rename their role to Superadmin or grant user.login_as permissions to take over accounts and reach core upgrade and module installation functions for code execution.
Privilege escalation in the Enterprise Policies component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 156, Firefox ESR 153.3, Thunderbird 156, and Thunderbird 153.3.
In MicroXR Blobstore, there is a possible way to access other app's files due to a missing permission check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
Privilege escalation in the Session Restore component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 156, Firefox ESR 153.3, Thunderbird 156, and Thunderbird 153.3.
Privilege escalation in the Crash Reporting component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 156, Firefox ESR 153.3, Thunderbird 156, and Thunderbird 153.3.
Privilege escalation in the Graphics: CanvasWebGL component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 156, Firefox ESR 153.3, Thunderbird 156, and Thunderbird 153.3.
Privilege escalation in the DevTools component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 156, Firefox ESR 153.3, Thunderbird 156, and Thunderbird 153.3.
Plane is an open-source project management tool. Prior to 1.4.0, a Project Member with role 15 can send a PATCH request to the project-member update endpoint at /api/workspaces/{workspace_slug}/projects/{project_id}/members/{member_pk}/ to change another user's project role. The role-update logic blocks only a new role higher than the requester's role, so assigning the equal Member role bypasses the insufficient validation and promotes a Project Guest with role 5 to Member without Project Admin approval. This unauthorized promotion grants the guest the additional project capabilities associated with the Member role and allows a regular member to bypass project governance controls. This issue is fixed in 1.4.0.
Privilege escalation in Firefox for Android. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 156.
Docmost is open-source collaborative wiki and documentation software. Prior to 0.90.1, an authenticated workspace ADMIN can use the workspace invitation flow to invite an external email address with the OWNER role because the role ceiling does not prevent ADMIN users from granting privileges above their own. When the invitation is accepted, the new account receives OWNER-level permissions, allowing the ADMIN to create a backdoor OWNER account or promote a colluding external user to the workspace's highest privilege level. This issue is fixed in version 0.90.1.
Capgo CLI (npm package @capgo/cli) through 7.98.2 is affected by an over-permissioned service account in its Android onboarding flow. When onboarding via Google OAuth, the CLI invites the generated Google Play service account with the account-wide Play Console permission CAN_MANAGE_DRAFT_APPS_GLOBAL (passed as developerAccountPermissions in the Android Publisher API User create request), even though the user-facing flow states the service account is invited into a single confirmed app with release-only permissions. As a result, anyone who obtains the generated service account key (PLAY_CONFIG_JSON) can create, edit, and delete draft apps across the entire Google Play developer account rather than being limited to the selected package. No patched version was available at the time of publication.
Privilege escalation in the Address Bar component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox ESR 153.4, Thunderbird 157, Thunderbird 140.17, Thunderbird 153.4, Firefox 157, and Firefox ESR 140.17.
