CVE-2026-49329 1 Redhat 2 Openshift, Openshift Container Platform 2026-10-07 7.5 High
A flaw was found in openshift/oauth-server. The OAuth login and error page endpoints pass the unauthenticated Accept-Language header to golang.org/x/text/language.ParseAcceptLanguage() without input validation. A bypass of the CVE-2022-32149 mitigation exists: the upstream guard counts only '-' characters but the internal BCP 47 scanner aliases '_' to '-' after the guard check. An unauthenticated attacker can send a crafted Accept-Language header using '_' separators to trigger quadratic-time parsing, consuming excessive CPU and denying authentication to all cluster users.
CVE-2026-84429 1 Djangoproject 1 Django 2026-10-07 5.3 Medium
An issue was discovered in Django 6.1 before 6.1.2, 6.0 before 6.0.9, and 5.2 before 5.2.18. `django.utils.http.parse_header_parameters()` was subject to a potential denial-of-service attack due to quadratic time complexity when parsing a value with many separators inside a quoted parameter. An unauthenticated request could reach this parsing through headers such as `Accept` or `Content-Type`, for instance via the content negotiation performed by `HttpRequest.accepts()`. The per-call length limit does not bound the combined size of repeated headers. Earlier, unsupported Django series (such as 5.1.x, 5.0.x, and 4.2.x) were not evaluated and may also be affected. Django would like to thank Jisung Chae for reporting this issue.
CVE-2026-59870 1 Nodeca 1 Js-yaml 2026-10-06 7.5 High
js-yaml is a JavaScript YAML parser and dumper. Prior to 3.15.1, 4.3.1, and 5.2.1, YAML11_SCHEMA support for the !!omap tag in src/tag/sequence/omap.ts uses omapTag.addItem() to perform a linear duplicate-key scan on every insertion, causing O(n^2) CPU consumption when yaml.load() parses a crafted ordered-map document. In v3 and v4, !!omap is active and exploitable by default. v5 doesn't use !!omap by default, and the chances of activating it are very low. This issue is fixed in 3.15.1, 4.3.1, and 5.2.1.
CVE-2026-104182 1 Uhop 1 Stream-json 2026-10-05 6.2 Medium
stream-json is a micro-library of stream components for processing JSON and JSONC with a minimal memory footprint. Prior to 3.6.0, the JSONC parser at stream-json/jsonc/parser.js and verifier at stream-json/jsonc/verifier.js restart comment-terminator scanning from the opening slash whenever a block or line comment spans an input chunk, while retaining the accumulated comment buffer. Delivering a large valid comment across many small chunks therefore causes quadratic CPU work and can stall the Node.js event loop. The maintainer characterizes the attack vector as local because the documented JSONC input is locally owned or user-controlled configuration, rather than input intended for the open internet. This JSONC-only scope does not include the plain JSON parser, which advances through and discards consumed string and number data. This issue is fixed in version 3.6.0.
CVE-2026-82398 2 Py-pdf, Pypdf Project 2 Pypdf, Pypdf 2026-10-05 5.3 Medium
pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.15.0, an attacker can craft a PDF that causes long runtimes when the pypdf/_utils.py function read_until_whitespace reads a stream containing a long run of bytes without whitespace. The function repeatedly performs immutable bytes concatenation in a one-byte loop, causing quadratic processing cost for the long non-whitespace input. This issue is fixed in version 6.15.0.
CVE-2026-94653 1 Apache 1 Thrift 2026-10-05 N/A
Inefficient Algorithmic Complexity vulnerability in Apache Thrift PHP bindings. This issue affects Apache Thrift: before 0.25.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.25.0, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-102994 2 Py-pdf, Pypdf Project 2 Pypdf, Pypdf 2026-10-05 7.5 High
pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.18.0, a crafted PDF containing indirect-object identifiers or generation-number tokens that continue for a long time without whitespace can cause pypdf/_reader.py and pypdf/generic/_base.py to scan excessive input through read_until_whitespace, resulting in long runtimes and application unavailability. This issue is fixed in version 6.18.0.
CVE-2026-102997 2 Py-pdf, Pypdf Project 2 Pypdf, Pypdf 2026-10-05 7.5 High
pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.18.1, a crafted PDF containing a partially malformed /FlateDecode stream with padded data can force pypdf/filters.py to use inefficient byte-by-byte decompression while the earlier recovery counter fails to advance for bytes that successfully decode, causing long runtimes and application unavailability. This is a residual issue after the malformed FlateDecode recovery fix. This issue is fixed in version 6.18.1.
CVE-2026-102999 2 Py-pdf, Pypdf Project 2 Pypdf, Pypdf 2026-10-05 7.5 High
pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.19.0, a crafted PDF containing many embedded files can cause the dictionary-based attachments API in pypdf/_doc_common.py to reparse the full attachment list for each content lookup, producing repeated work and long runtimes when an application accesses the embedded-file mapping. This issue is fixed in version 6.19.0.
CVE-2026-103604 1 Legion Of The Bouncy Castle Inc. 1 Bc-csharp 2026-10-04 N/A
Inefficient algorithmic complexity in X.509 distinguished name string conversion (X509Name.ToString and IetfUtilities.ValueToString) in Legion of the Bouncy Castle Inc. bc-csharp before 2.7.0 allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service through CPU exhaustion via a certificate, CRL, certification request or other structure whose name contains a long attribute value made up of characters that must be escaped, such as commas, or of leading or trailing spaces, because each escaping backslash was inserted into the buffer being scanned, so the work grew quadratically with the length of the value. Applications are exposed when they convert such a name to a string, for example to log or display it, or compare it with IetfUtilities.RdnAreEqual, as PKIX path validation does for directoryName name constraints.
CVE-2026-94655 1 Apache 1 Thrift 2026-10-04 N/A
Allocation of resources without limits or throttling, Inefficient Algorithmic Complexity vulnerability in Apache Thrift Lua bindings. This issue affects Apache Thrift: before 0.25.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.25.0, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-104844 1 Postcss 1 Postcss-selector-parser 2026-10-04 5.9 Medium
PostCSS Selector Parser is a CSS selector parser that integrates with PostCSS but does not require it. Prior to 7.1.6, src/parser.js splitWord() can receive a flat selector as one word token carrying many class or ID indexes because period and hash characters are not tokenizer word delimiters. The uniqs() deduplication and per-index class and ID membership checks repeatedly scan the class and ID index arrays, while a separate Sass-interpolation filtering pass also performs repeated linear scanning. Together, these passes make parsing quadratic in the number of indexes and allow a crafted selector to occupy a synchronous parser thread. The maxNestingDepth guard does not mitigate the issue because the hostile selector can have zero nesting depth. Only consumers that synchronously parse untrusted selectors in an exposed request path are affected; ordinary build-time parsing of trusted sources is not affected. This issue is fixed in version 7.1.6.

CVE-2026-104426 2 Zcashfoundation, Zfnd 2 Zebra, Zebra 2026-10-02 5.9 Medium
Zebra before 6.1.0 contains an inefficient algorithmic complexity vulnerability in remaining_transaction_value that clones the entire block-level spent-UTXO map per transaction during contextual verification. Attackers can mine or seed the mempool with roughly 26,000 minimal single-input transactions in one block, stalling every validating node for over 52 seconds.
CVE-2026-85494 2 Apache, Redhat 2 Thrift, Hummingbird 2026-10-02 7.5 High
Improper handling of length parameter inconsistency, Uncaught exception, Inefficient Algorithmic Complexity, Memory allocation with excessive size value, Initialization of a resource with an insecure default vulnerability in Apache Thrift Python, Ruby, Erlang, Lua, Dart, JavaME, Perl, PHP and D language bindings. This issue affects Apache Thrift: before 0.25.0. Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.25.0, which fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-42772 1 Openssl 1 Openssl 2026-09-30 5.3 Medium
Issue summary: The QUIC stream reassembly algorithm performance deteriorates progressively as packets are arriving out of order. The worst case has a quadratic complexity proportional to the number of stream frames kept in the buffer for the received stream data. Impact summary: A remote QUIC peer that completes the handshake can create a connection-scoped CPU pressure and potentially a Denial of Service using compliant STREAM frames inside the advertised receive window, with low attacker bandwidth. CWE: CWE-407: Inefficient Algorithmic Complexity Description: OpenSSL manages received QUIC stream fragments using a doubly-linked list. While it optimizes for append operations (at the end of the list), it falls back to a head-to-tail linear search for any fragment that does not immediately follow the current `tail`. By manipulating the sequence of offsets, an attacker can force the server to perform O(n^2) operations, consuming excessive CPU time for the QUIC process. FIPS impact: no The FIPS module is not affected as the QUIC implementation is outside of the OpenSSL FIPS module boundary.
